I concur with the above statement.
One step further;
NOTHING should be hated. Hate destroys anyone feeling it. It's a scourge and we here know better than to allow the most negative thing possible to influence our lives and these here forums.
Not to try and influence anything but I feel that once the word "hate" is no more then maybe things will truly change for the best.
Back in the 80s, when valley girl talk supposedly went out of style...it didn't. Now, 85% of women talk like a valley girl yet have never even seen a valley! Problem is, the average person says "hate" almost as much as they say, "OH my GOD!" The next most popular thing that the mentality will say is, oh, right? Or, "actually."
Example (normal) I went to the store today.
Example (Valleygirl) I actually went to the store today.
As if the word "actually" makes it more important! I'm not sure who came up with the word, "actually" but I can honestly say it has no purpose in the english language.
It is or it isn't. Like Yoda said, "there is no such thing as "TRY." You either do or don't.
At the very least, when all else fails, we still have our geckos!
