Hello, I just got this little leo a couple of weeks ago and it is driving me crazy trying to figure out what kind he is. The guy at the pet store couldn't really tell me exactley what morph he was. So if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Hope to hear back from ya!!

I would say you have a nice hypo tangerine, as the spots on the back look brown from the picture. He has no carrot tail, nor is he baldy as there are definate spots on the head, which rules out SHCTB. :main_thumbsup:

It does not rule out the fact that it is obviously a young animal and the spots on the head and body will most likely fade out...

It is a super hypo tang for sure. Could turn out to be a SHTB...

Very true, thank you for the correction :main_yes: I often forget just how much coloration of young leos can change.

Thanks alot. That is actually what I was hoping for. How old do they have to be before you can tell what sex they are, and what morph would you recommend for breeding with this animal??

depends some you can tell pretty soon. but i'd wait about 5-6 months to be sure. as for breeding depends what you want. if you want more like that than another SHTB

an enigma is a dominant trait, not line bred, so you have to start with an enigma in order to produce one.

Also, yours is probably a super hypo tang.
