I breed what interests me. Snow variations mainly.

@ Jordan- I would love to see what creams your working with. I have produced quite a few Super Creams and for the most part they tend to be high white (from the hypo in the Cream), striped, and usually have smaller freckle size spots on them. Let me know how yours turn out. Also once you throw albino into Creams, then it becomes a Snow Glow (they would be Snow Glow Raptors ;) ). If you don't mind me asking, who's line of Creams are you working with?

hmm i suppose they would be Snowglow Raptors, the reason i called them creamsicle raptors is down to the fact that i thought a snowglow is more thought of as a mack snow and sunglow rather than an albino and creamsicle, so maybe starting with creamsicles and introducing Raptor genes could turn out a little different, than starting with sunglows and adding snow. Maybe not though eh.. lol.

From your description, super creams sound awesome lol. i'd love to see some pics, its not a morph ive seen pics of i think.

And im working with my own creamsicles (well i bought the mack snow and shtct obviously), this year i made some first gen creamsicles, so theyre not amazing, but next year they will be bred to look better and to make super creams, and introduce raptor hets for the year after.

PM me and ill shoot you some pics of Super Creams.

A Cream Raptor may look a little different from a Snowglow Raptor...but the genetics are identical...so we can't rename it unless you spend years line breeding and truly making it different (poly-genetically). Also Creams will take a good 4 gens before they will begin looking real good and holding color throughout adult hood. They will brown out real bad on you for a while. Its a fun project for sure though, my favorite.

tell me about it, i did some last year too but there colour faded and barely looked like creamsicles, so i sold them as just mack snows that were a tiny bit hypo lol.
Yeh same genes involved so same morph really but hopefull the different path may have some effect on the look. But if not then i suppose, i probably would spend a while making it different polygenetically, i mean may as well keep going with it while i work on other things over the years.

Gonna PM you now about pics.

I'm breeding Mack snows and supersnows, stripes/jungles, Tremper albinos (some years) and tangs. I started breeding in 2005 with what I thought looked good and I've slowly diversified by building on what I have. I have limited space and funds so my projects are also based on a pretty stable group of male breeders. At the moment that includes a Tremper albino, stripe het Tremper, hypo snow and normal. I'm set up for Tremper snows next season for the first time.

I think most people, including myself, breed for what their personal preferences are :) Right now I've got Radars, Pure Eclipses, Pure Afghans, Afghan/Eclipses, Bells, and I'm working on some Redstripe Radars and Stealths.

I may not breed any leos next year, I'm practically giving away my babies from this season and they still aren't moving.

I know how you feel. I cut down my projects for next year. I'll mostly be working with eclipse, mack eclipse, raptors and mack raptors, bold stripes, and afghans.
