What's wrong with the Murphy Patternless..

After reading T-Rexxx's post on "New "Breeders" who don't know what they are getting into..." and then seeing Gregg's response I started thinking what is my all time FAVORITE morph that makes my heart melt each time I see it abd not all the combos that can be made just the morph itself and I came to the conclusion that I've always adored the Murphy Patternless even above my adored Mack Snows... which I have neither, lmao.

Why is it that a lot of people don't seem to like them?

I just know of one breeder that is selling Murphy Patternless geckos to my knowledge while everyone else has (Insert morph here) patternless.

P.S. is the Carrot Tail seen on some of them natural or was it breed into them? If that questions makes sense, lol.

I dont particularly care for them because to me, they are just not eye-popping. I want a leo that has beautiful color and really cool patterns. It is the patterns that really makes me want a leo, and with the patternless, well.. they are patternless.. lol. However, my boyfriend really likes the patternless's and I just bought him one for Christmas =] He will probably be breeding them next year as well.

I like the all white morphs which essentially have no pattern, but I dunno. The murphy patternelss just seems dull to me..
I know, I am gonna get a lot of heap for saying it =P But that is just my opinion. Of course everyone has their own opinion.

I love my Patties... They have been a pretty major project for me the past couple seasons. They just need to be refined a bit... :smitten:

i love patternless! one of my favorite all time geckos was a patternless, his name was jello, weird thing about him is that he had an orange wash over him. he was truly unique. i love rainwater patternless albinos too they are so sweet :smitten: i got a female from kelli years ago, she was just gorgeous! patties are beautiful animals

The Patternless will always hold a special place in my heart. They were the first true leopard gecko "morph" so imagine how excited I was to finally get one years ago. It would be like getting a Black Pearl or something similar today.

Patternless leos have been my favorite since I started looking at all the morphs! I would never have gotten a second gecko if I hadn't come across Delphi. I claimed her on the spot! lol It was a bonus to discover later on that she was albino, bringing out her colors. ^^

How can you not adore those patty babies with their unique giraffe-like markings? I would LOVE to see a strain of patterned patternless geckos that kept their baby markings as an adult. ;)

jello did that, well not all of it but he did retain quite a bit compared to most.

Delphi's only seven or eight months I think, but she's already lost all her markings. You can see the faintest trace on her neck but that's all. They grow up so fast!

I have a Patternless and he is adorable :) Very pretty face that u seem to be able to see his smile more because he doesnt have blotches of color :) And his eyes seem to stand out more too against his little yellow face :)

I have never thought of him as plain just because he is one color and he just has such a friendly personality you cant help but love him :) I am very much looking forward to getting some babies from him as i love patternless geckos :D

I don`t particulary like the patternless morph alone as I find that they tend to have dull boring colors but some of the combos that there are with them are really what got me on them...

In two months I have got a Tremper albino patternless male and a Mack snow Tremper albino patternless female.

I didn't know they were the first morph but I knew they were one of the first and seemed to be dying out.

I just love the way they look like their yellow and pink, lol.

I like patternless albinos, thats why i got the SG pair of them :main_thumbsup:

Its pretty sad that very few people work with patternless these days as they sure are nice and i remember when they were 2000 each, its all about whats hot and new figures :main_no:
