As the title says, I'm wondering who is interested enough in het-for-nothing normals to buy them? I'm asking because I'm considering a breeding project next season to produce these normals but I'd like to know if people are seriously interested in them and would consider buying them (for about $25). I'm not asking for a commitment, just whether or not it's likely.

i dont know really....i like them for sure but without a lot of success of being able to sell my own babies then im unlikely to buy any geckos from breeders for now. I think a good line of normals would be great to have and very useful to outcross into other lines to hopefully strengthen them.

I have a normal het for nothing male, but he's pretty light. I would love a dark female with no hets. I think people still want them.

I'm very interested in a breeding pair of normals. Would you have unrelated lines going or just one pair/group?

I do have some normal girls (no hets, I´ve had them for more than 15 years) and usually breed them to (co)dominant males since the only one, who´s interrested in normal babys is the local pet shop keeper and he buys the normal babys for less than 15 dollars. If I would not give them away to him, nobody would have interrest in them. Sad but true.

I don't know why normals have a hard time selling. They are my favorite. :main_thumbsup:

I have a normal male het for nothing and if I feel there's really some interest, will acquire a normal female het for nothing and see what I get.

I'm interested as well. I think it is important to keep the normal leo going strong. As another poster said they are good for out crossing as well.

i have several normals that im going to be breeding to test for hets next year, but as far as i know they don't. i think they are beautiful and should be kept as pure as possible.

yea i dont understand why people dont like normals, if people wanted a spotless lizard then buy a salamander or somthing like it, spots are underated when it comes to leopard geckos...theyre called "leopard" geckos for a reason why take away that reason?

I know a lot of people are interested in normals. I'm more interested in knowing who is interested enough to buy some (without firm commitment at this time).
