my definition of going ape shit is threatening to step down as a MOD on GF when you clearly stated on a previous thread that seeing nude men was ok. so yes, i am saying your going ape shit.

i just dont see why you wuld go as far as stepping down as a MOD when 1. you said seeing nude men was ok. and 2. you could have avoided this threat all together.

I am not threatening ANYTHING. I simply said I am not sure I can support a GECKO forum that allows material of this nature. Part of the reason I said what I did about showing nude men, is that typically it seems OK to post photos of women, but avoids posting pics of men. Personally, I don't find posting nude pics of women OR men is acceptable on a forum that is supposed to be a "Gecko" forum, and a "Fight" forum.

Maybe this forum needs to be renamed the "Anything Goes" forum?

Okay, there are quite a few of you that know me enough from chat nights when I was on everynight and kept mainly to the Mature Chat, because well I have a potty mouth and I'm far from being a prude.

However, I will admit that I'm the one that brought this thread up in the Mod forum. My concern was that there would be people that want to be able discuss what the "fight club" originally stood for and not wanting to see these types of posts. There as of last count at least 5 votes for wanting this type of posts to have a subforum and for me even one vote for that is enough.

My concern is more so that someone would not put up a warning in their thread title as Nevin did. This is the one thing that could backfire if we have to start policing titles of threads in the fight club because a member forgot to put up a warning. Would it really be so bad to have stuff like this in a subforum? Shit, I might even post some funny pics that I've come accross.

As is, this is a forum I would never consider viewing while at work. That's before genitals starting showing up. Leave it as is, make it clear this entire forum is NSFW. And just enjoy it for what it is.

Or remove it and go back to an entirely public forum. We don't need this to be a secret invitation only forum that eventually will leak out anyway... like before. We don't need to revisit that.
