yet another uth ?

alright we just got our uth's in... so now im left to ask befor i install... we have a 20 long that we divided in the center and a leo on each side... would it be best to stick the uth in the center?? so they each get a piece of the pie... orrrr???? also note that someday this tank will not be divided... but as of now it is... thoughts? thanks in advance!!! :main_thumbsup:

That's what I would do, put it in the center.
Did you get the kind with the sticky stuff on one side?
If not, it will be easy to remove later. Just stick it on with a little silicone
cement (aquarium glue).

You don't even have to use glue on it. Just tape it on with duct tape. I'm actually using another product that I got at Home Depot that looks like duct tape except instead of the flat gray color, it has a material more like aluminum foil with glue on the other side. It's probably in the ducting part of Home Depot and so far it sticks better for longer than duct tape.

if i dont "glue" it down... will that wreck the stickyness when i do decide to stick it permitly??? i got the zoo meds uth... so yes they have stickys... are they hard to unstick and tape up somewhere else?

I have a 20 gallon long divided in the center as well. I have a uth in the center of the tank too, so both leos get some. It works out perfect.

I have separated 29 gallon long so I put a uth on both sides. Even if you put the sticky on the bottom of the tank it isnt permanant you can get it back off with not too much trouble.
