40 grams breedable?

i have a male thats 40 grams right now and i want to breed him to my 70 gram female? is this safe? or should i weight until hes bigger.

he was born in july or august i think.

At only 6 months old I would give him more time. Females can be really aggressive toward a male's breeding attempts so it may not be the best idea to a really young male in with a large female.

i would give him more time for sure. i would wait til he is ten grams larger at least, perhaps a couple of months.

I agree with them. I have a 6 month old that bred to my female SS but he was hitting right around 60 grams. He is a chunker for that age too for not being a giant. Males really should be 50 grams no matter how old they are.

I don't breed any of my leos until they are at least 55g. I suggest you wait until he is at least 50g before you even try.
