Paco said:Kelli he got his male from Alberto so it's very possible. I allmost bought an Adult Tremper Blazing Enigma from Alberto earlier this year as well. So now I think of this it's 100% possible for Ron to have this guy. All Alberto is working with any more are Enigma crosses and he has done them all as we have seen.
Tremper Blazing Blizzard Enigma x Super Giant Raptor= How he got his male from Alberto.

This sort of thing interests me. I'd like to know more. Do you have details -- who did it and the test method? Or can I find it on the web?KelliH said:All three strains of albino leopard gecko were genetically tested several years ago and proven to be T positive albinos.

KelliH said:But didn't you see the thread where Steve Sykes posted a pic of the Blazing Blizzard Enigma when it hatched??
The ENIGMAS also can display a physical defect in the form of shaking, spinning and/or head arching. The exact reason for this behavior is still largely unknown, but it is seen to a lesser degree in young whereby only one parent is an ENIGMA. ENIGMAS bred to each other may amplify this problem.
cassadaga said:I think what AM originally coined as the BBE was actually just a Tremper Enigma, but I'm not 100% certain.
cassadaga said:I doubt it was an intentionally missrepresented animal, if it were missrepresented at all. I just know that what was originally posted as a BBE on leopardgeckowiki by AM, is not what is now posted by Albey.

This trait is called "Enigma" for good reason!!! I believe it'll stay mysterious for many generations, as more genes/traits combine with Enigma and 'show' themselves. Just look at the variation in "normal" enigmas...then imagine tossing the (R)aptor code into the mix...or the raining reds...
Alberto is as honest a guy as you'll find in the business, he calls it like he sees it. Just ask him anything and he'll tell you everything he knows, and what he's not quite sure about
Paco said:Very well put Brian.:main_thumbsup:
Alberto has been one of the most helpfull breeders I have dealt with. He has gone out of his way several times to send me pics and answer all of my questions about all the new traits and morphs we have to date. If there are any issues or questions I know he would be more than happy to disclose all he knows!
KelliH said:Paco, look, I never said Alberto misrepresented anything purposely. I do not believe that the animals he thought were Tremper Blazing Blizzard Enigmas and Blizzard Enigmas were what he thought they were. ALberto himself has expressed doubts.
Myself and a couple of others have hatched out Blizzard Enigmas that do not look at all like the one that was initially posted by Alberto, and He and Matt then said they are going to test breed the geckos they have that they believe are Blazing Blizzard Enigmas and Blizzard ENigmas. In the meantime though, Steve Sykes and Albey have both hatched out Tremper Blazing Blizzard Enigmas that look nothing like the ones that A & M have showed photos of. That is why the photos were changed in the Leopard Gecko wiki.
Make sense now?
Paco said:Kelli... I don't think I ever said or implied that you said Alberto was missrepresenting anything. I don't know where you got that from? I simply asked a few questions to one of your responses is all. Sorry if it was taken the wrong way.
I can see why there is confusion about the BBE. I don't recall seeing any hatchling pics of Alberto's BBE just juvie/adult pics? Maybe Baby pics side by side would help.
The testing results will be released soon so the questions will be answred.
