Well , here's a quick image. He's been in with the ladies and is still 87 grams today. Better eyes too... WHITE with a blue cast to them. I am sure if I add a beer to his water he will get veiny eyes in the morning:main_laugh:

and this makes me think about the last times I drank too much longdrinks. My favourite one is a self mixed 33% maracuja juice, 33% vodka, 33% crushed ice. Tastes great and makes even better red veins after half a liter of vodka. I never named this longdrink. Now, it has a name:

The magic: ABYSSINIAN

That male I posted can indeed hatch...

"can produce Abyssinians, Eclipse, Jungle designers, Tangerine designers, Reverse stripes, Bandeds, Stripes, Emerines, and the albinos of each; including Aptors and Raptors."

.... when bred to a RAPTOR, APTOR, eclipse, patternless stripe:main_evilgrin:

IMHO;)

The Magic: Abyssinian, must be an expensive drink:main_laugh:

I have a male that looks almost exactly like yours Paul, I'll have to post pix I got him from Mike (Rekowski ) last year as an Eclipse Het raptor. he has one solid black eye and one half snake eye. I got a little girl from him too, eclipse het raptor her snake eyes faded almost completely. (similar to the eye shown in the second picture in his Abs gallery2008)
I checked her eyes today and she has red vaining in her eyes. go figure who thought blood vessels would be red... and her tail's speckled like theirs are.
Makes me wonder.
Not that if I have an ab but that..:lipsrsealed2: :lipsrsealed2::sneaky: :speechless:

Very cool :main_yes: I have a pair of eclipse's het raptor that are very similar. I know for sure the female has red veins in her eyes:D I have to take a closer look at the males eyes though. The best thing is that they are both banded with minimal carrot-tail if any. I'll produce Abyssinians with no carrottails .....:main_thumbsup:

I have one of these "Abyssinians" here too, I think.:main_thumbsup: Thought I was seeing things when I was tired one night, but my possible het Tremper Albino- Eclipse has a very light "normal" half of her snake eye, with reddish veining. Black Eclipse eyes otherwise! Also a "patternless"-pattern that changed into faint super snow-like, whole body spotting, and a speckled tail.:main_yes:

I am just a bit shocked how people still talk about Ron. Does it really affect anyone how he markets his animals??? Seriously, who cares. People talk about how they are not impressed with his morphs, meanwhile some of the best geckos ever produce came from his line.

Personally, I cant wait to see what he produces next even if someone claims to have "produced it already"... Chances are, his version, will be ten times nicer...

Gregg-

I agree with you of course, but I'v stopped posting in Ron's defense, since IMO he needs none-at least as long as his detractors can't boast even 1% of his accomplishments:main_rolleyes: .......

When a breeder is as successful as Ron has been, there is going to be much more scrutiny and therefore more folks that don't agree with something he does etc. That's a part of being successful in this business. I have my detractors also, and plenty, and I am sure Ron disagrees with some of my beliefs about genetics and/or morphs (in fact I know he does). At the end of the day though, he (and I and anyone else that is high profile in this business) needs to realize that when you have lots of positives, there are always going to be some negatives. Accepting that not everyone is going to agree with you goes right along with that. It is something I have learned, especially over the past couple of years with my involvement in the Enigma morph.

Paul, IMO, Tremper Enigmas cant be beat... I cant see geckos getting any brighter or more unique than that... It has to be the best morph combo yet...

Good point Kelli... You are 100% correct... No matter how much good you do, there is always some joker that will try to kill the moment...

:main_laugh: I admit to being a joker at times:p

Gregg, I tend to agree with you on that point wholeheartedly, but I intend to make eclipse cross enigmas and firewater enigmas and truely hope I can top my best tremper / tangerine enigmas in color with those.

I will be the first to admit that I just don't see the difference between some of my eclipses and the ABS, but do indeed think RT has done more than plenty for this hobby with his work. We definately can't please everyone, though most of us try our best to do just that.

I don't like the looks of many of the new minivan x suv's on the road, but apparently plenty of people do ;)
