Ok, I would like to start a "neat" project. Not necessarily a project that will take two or three generations, just something I can look forward to every year. I currently have a Tremper Jungle Albino (no hets that I know of), and a SHTCTB (with no hets) males. I was looking at getting a Super Snow and breeding it with the SHTCTB, but read that they are both dominant traits and it will not work. What I need is some advice to cross with one of these males.... as I said before, I just want a little project, I am not a "serious" breeder, but do it more as a hobby. If anyone has an suggestions, could you let me know. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm not sure what yot mean by "will not work." SHTCTB isn't dominant, it's line-bred, and Super Snow is Co-Dom. If you cross a SHCTB with a SS you're going to get Mack Snows with some hypo influence, which would be a good start for a HypoSnow(AKA ghost or Creamsickle) project. Snowglows would be a nice project with those males, you could get a pair of SS females for that. Or you could go with Hybinos(SHTCTB+albino), another morph that can always be improved apon. Your first year in either project wouldnt give you anything spectacular, but over 3-4 seasons things could start getting pretty awesome depending on your SHTCB's color. Line breds are definately the way to go if you want a project that is fairly simple genetically and yet can always be improved apon.

Thanks, well, put it this way, I have three females for the SHTCTB... all are also SHTCTB's. I don't know, I guess I just want something little that when the egg hatches, I can be like "wow, that's a cool pattern, or wow, I wasn't expecting that." I'm not looking for "the next big thing" but just a little project that I can come home to and look forward to doing.

Ninja Edit: I read online that a Super Snow X SHTCTB will not work because they are both dominant traits and you will end up with either a gecko that looks like a Super Snow and is a SHTCTB or a gecko that looks like a SHTCTB but is a Super Snow. As you can see, the whole genetics/morph thing owns me (as it did in school also....lol).

Well, I am obsessed with the Nova line lately. So if it were me, I would get a Nova female for you SHTCTB and your Tremper Albino. The outcome would be as follows:

Nova (RAPTOR Enigma) x SHTCTB =
* 50 % variance of tangerines, all het for tremper albino & eclipse (RAPTOR)
* 50% Tangerine Enigmas, all het for tremper albino & eclipse (RAPTOR)

Nova x Tremper Albino =
* 50 % Tremper Albino het Eclipse
* 50 % Tremper Albino Enigma het Eclipse

i think a nice tangerine tremper albino would make killer babies. not a sunglow or similar but a true tangerine tremper albino.

Hypo is dominant trait.The Super,Tangerine,Carrottail,Baldy are Polygenic traits.
So a super hypo tangerine carrottail baldy is both Dominant and Polygenic.
Super snow is the (Homozygous) state of a Codominant trait.

Snow SPLIT Super snow.

A percentage of offspring will be influenced by tangerine.
A percent of hypo offspring will be influenced by tangerine, carrot tail, Baldy.
