Hi everyone,

I discovered a weird wound on the underside of mt AFT gecko’s regenerated tail. I dont really know where it came from, or if i should be worried about it. Does anyone know what it may mean? He also just shed, so it couldn’t be that.

Thanks

It's at the tip of the tail, right? It looks to me as if it may have dropped the tail tip again, but I'm not sure. Check to see if there are any rough surfaces, or places the gecko could get stuck. Are there any crickets or other feeders that stay in the enclosure and could have been chewing on him? I was breeding super worms in my gargoyle enclosure and eventually found out that the super worms and beetles were chewing on their tails. Needless to say I'm not doing that anymore.
