Stay at home mom for 7 years to my 2 and my nephew.

From May to Sept I work the bow of our 33' Frers sailboat. We race Wed nights & Saturdays. Once again unpaid, but AWESOME!!!!

I deliver 123 newspapers 6 days a week to help out with groceries/Walmart/sails spending. Sure does make me hate rain.

I volunteer time to cub scouts, South Shore Quests (publish a booklet of 20 clue-led hikes through trails on the South Shore of MA) & Freecycle.

I sit in front of a computer all day monitoring various Business and Integration systems for a major Canadian Oil Producers' Crude Oil and Natural Gas Marketing Department.

Glorified baby sitter I guess...

My title is Business Analyst - Director of Research and Development - for a subsidiary of the Brunswick Corporation.

We produce operating systems for the RV, Marine, and Auto industries.

I also do web design and some minor IT consulting for local businesses and friends.

I'm also a private personal trainer (when I have time). I mainly work with teens getting into weight training, as well as sports injury rehab.

With the Geckos; I own and operate three businesses, plus a full time job, and travel throughout the US and Canada pretty often.

I'm an eclectic mix you could say.. I hope to retire at 31 LOL !!

I teach biology (zoology, ecology, marine biology) at two of our local community colleges. All three courses include lots of field trips to the wonderful ecosystems in our area: tide pools, estuaries (we usually see lots of otters & harbor seals on this trip), redwood forests, sand dunes, & we also visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I occasionally bring some of my animals in when we are talking about reptiles.

I am also a chauffeur for my children - I spend nearly 15 hours a week driving them back & forth to school. They have Friday and Monday off, though so this weekend we get to play!

And then of course there are my geckos & snakes!! :smitten:

Federal officer for the past four years now. Spent the last two traveling the country assisting with security at airports, railways, and special events. Now I'm settled in one place and looking to transition away from this aspect of security and into regulatory/inspection.

I am a social worker/therapist that works with pregnant and parenting teens. I am the mother to three children, and my husband is an AMAZING stay at home dad. I'm getting ready to train for a marathon - I've run two before - so that will be a bit of a "job". Plus I have the geckos. ;) Let's just say I'm never bored........LOL.

Tech Support Rep for BSH Home Appliance. We make Thermador, Bosch, Seimens and Gaggenau home appliances. When the wife finishes nursing school, in May, I'm hoping to go part time to be a part time stay at home dad.

I, also, just accepted the position of assistant coach on my son's T-ball team.

I give props to all thase stay at home moms. It is not easy, I do miss work but I enjoy seeing my kids more. My wife manages the USA based part of Their software company(Her dads and Hers). I am learning this new business so when the kids are finally in school her dad can semi retire in china and we will be running the whole thing.

Student here! I am currently working on my web assistant degree and my high school diploma. ;) In January of 2009 I'll be heading to another college in Corvallis and starting my computer support specialist degree.

I was a genetics major until this term when the program was disbanded due to lack of funds and the fact that the only professor who taught it was hired by a bigger state college.

So yeah, I'm headed for an office for sure!

Marica, how many years of school did you need for your career? I would love to be a MOGG!

MOGG comes with 1 year of night classes, but a MOGL takes a DD to perfect:main_laugh:

That is one of the funniest things Marcia said to me, Doctor of Devinity
