Hey Paul, I'm in Tenessee right now. It's 40 degrees out right now. That's 40 degrees warmer than back home. Just though you might like to know.

It's Begining to Look a Lot Like :santa3: !!! :main_laugh:

Weather in the negatives next week and the wind chill out here is going to be double digit negatives. Not cool when I still have to take the puppy outside and freeze while she decides if she wants to use the bathroom or not.

I like the snow but screw this cold!

lol I'm in the same boat with my dog. But his problem is he likes to play in the snow, so I'm never sure if he really needs to go potty or he's just wanting to go out and play. We don't have a fenced yard, so I have to stand there and freeze my butt off watching him.

Thanks guys.....it's so nice of you to share. :main_no: :main_thumbsdown: :main_thumbsdown: :main_thumbsdown:

WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 11 AM EST MONDAY.

THE COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON CONTINUES TO FILTER INTO THE STATE AND WILL STAY IN PLACE WELL INTO THE NEW WORK WEEK. THE COMBINATION OF LOW TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 5 AND 10 ABOVE ZERO...AND A GUSTY WIND OUT OF THE WEST WILL CAUSE WIND CHILL READINGS TO AVERAGE 15 TO 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO FOR A TIME LATER TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY.

WHILE THE WIND CHILL READINGS WILL CREEP UP FOR A TIME LATER MONDAY MORNING...IT WILL STILL BE VERY COLD WITH WIND CHILLS NOT EXPECTED TO RECOVER MUCH ABOVE ZERO EVEN DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THE BITTER COLD WILL CONTINUE INTO MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY WHEN AN ADVISORY MAY ONCE AGAIN BE NEEDED.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS... MAKE SURE TO DRESS IN LAYERS AND WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES.

Same here. I'm freezing and she acts like the cross winds blowing in my face are nothing. She eats it, rolls in it, sits in it. I swear she does it just to annoy me sometimes.

I have one thing to say

THIS SUCKS

I have my rabbits on my front porch and they are in covered hutches but of course i still have to go out and feed /water them and give them fresh hay bedding everyday
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I freeze my butt off every day doing that but they are all nice and healthy

Come On Spring !!!

It's -12 right now, and it's supposed to get down to -17 overnight. I wish I had a tent so that I could camp out in the back yard.

I actually left the house to run a few errands this afternoon, and it was so cold that my tires were spinning on DRY pavement. Rubber has got to be pretty cold to do that so easily.

Holy guacomole, I thought we had it bad in Kansas last week (it didn't get out of the teens and twenties) - it's supposed to be 43 tomorrow...which is going to feel balmy compared to the high of 25 today. I'm usually whining about how I miss having a dog...for the moment I'll happily just stick with the two indoor-only cats and the geckos.
