I gave Yoshi one once and he grabbed it, bit it then spat it back out again so im guessing they dont taste too nice

On a side note i once gave him a waxworm moth and he yummed it down and seemed to love it, wings were a bit chewy though :laugh4:

Chewy (leopard gecko) wouldn't go for them but, my friends bearded dragons love them.

I had a few that I didn't plan on breeding and wanted to see if Gizmo would eat them...I guess he might be one weird gecko because he likes them! He eats them whenever they are offered, though he still likes the plain old meal worms best.

He also eats the pupas if they wiggle!

My girl just ate a beetle, no problems so far...

Recently I suddenly saw a beetle prancing through my tank, it was not reddish but more black, probably a diff type of flour beetle? It kinda freaked me out because apparently it had been pupating somewhere. I only feed crickets, waxworms and meaworms and only the latter turn into beetles as far as i know :D

They're white when they first come out of the pupa stage. Then they turn reddish, then jet black. You probably just saw an old beetle....

My leos will eat the pupae. Only Jasper will touch the beetles, though
