I never said "ALL" carried... It is however, a high %... Do you think for one second that any huge breeder never had some animals die of crypto??? You are kidding yourself if you do... No ones entire collection has been taken out due to crypto... Give me one example...

I think it is a VERY misrepresented threat to our geckos, that I never hear anything about.

Kelli, i would love to read your story/experience with crypto as well, would you mind posting about that? I think it would benefit all of us to learn especially about the younger or less experienced herp keepers that have not had the tragedy to deal with it. Maybe add it to Marcia's sticky????

this is my first post. sorry and i do apologize. i also didnt go through and read this whole discusssion like i should have. i need to make an introduction, but i also do dwell in the sugar glider hobby as well as leo geckos and dart frogs and tree frogs, heck its a zoo. well anyhow the chicken mash is a concern and a few breeders lost sugar gliders to that mold on chicken mash. I am careful what I house my mealworms on now. It attacks the liver as far as i know and the liver shuts down eventually killing the animal. A big oversight to many. kristy
