why spend that much for a het? there still like what almost a grand? you could have made your own hets this year if you wanted a het, and still made a DB next year either way

The hets look nice and all, but the odds of getting a true raptor blazing blizzard from het to het are SLIM . A het female bred to a DB male would even be tough.

sad thing is though, there is no way he can promise the RAPTOR genes unless he acutlly test bred them. The geckos he is selling are to young to test breed oviously, so that means that realy all a DB is guarenteed to be is a BB with true Eclipse eyes. so if you look at it that way, even from a Normal het raptor het BB, your odds are 1 in 8 of getting a DB, so making your own hets you could possibly produce a few if you have like a 1.3 or 1.4 group of hets

Diablo Blancos are kind of pretty. Like Mandi said, it will be interesting to see how they look in a few generations with more carrot tail.

That carrot tail showing threw is definitely cool, so many people said carrot tail wouldnt come threw blizzards I guess thats because no one bothers breeding a blizzard to a tang ct, afterall why would they...

Actually, I was working on carrot tail blizzards way back in 2002-2003. I produced quite a few blizzards with nice carrotting back then. Here are a couple of my Het Blizzard breeders. These pics were taken when I sold them. I am still looking for some of the blizz pics.

OK what's this about any one else seen this

1 there's blanco het diablo blanco.AKA blazing blizzard het RAPTOR.fair enough.

2 there's diablo blanco.AKA eclipse blazing blizzard het RAPTOR.fair enough.

3 so when does albino blizzard (=BB)-het deablo blanco come in to it ?????????????? a normal eyed blazing blizzard het diablo blanco.THAT WHAT A BLANCO HET DIABLO BLANCO IS ??????????? sorry but i find that highly head doing :wall: .

well i wasnt gonna ask, but yeah i was wondering also. i thought mabey i didnt understand it properly.

All of the ones with dark eyes are marked as Albino Blizzard and ones with normal albino eyes are marked as Blancos.

My guess is he did that because they are expressing the other eye trait and the normal eyed are more "pure" or possibly not carrying those genes. Hence the higher price and DB derived name.
