You REALLY, REALLY need to take that to the vet. Give him as much detail as you can, and he may be able to help you.

Well I’m definetly no expert, and am most likely wrong as can be, but to me it almost sounds like he had a stroke or seizure.

Okay, that's great. Now....GET HIM TO THE VET! Said 3 times now. I doubt that you'll find much in the forums, it'll be safer to go to the vets.

None of us are vets. And if we were, we would not be able to help much any way.

You should be at the vet's with your leo by now (provided he is still alive).

After that, go to ***** and RAISE HELL with the manager!!! :main_angry:

Sounds like some sort of nerve damage!!!???
Perhaps from some kind of a toxin!

Are you at the vet yet?
Let us know please.

You need to take him to the vet, it is his job to care for animals. What we say are just what we think, you need to take him to the vet and let him tell you what is wrong with him.

I know that it can be very hard to find a herp vet let alone one that has emergency hours ( been there). Keep him in a SMALL container in a quiet place and start looking for a vet. If you start a thread asking if anyone knows of a vet in your area you may be able to find one. I would also start calling the ones in your area and they may be able to point you in the right direction. From the sounds of it, this little guy needs to get help right away. Regardless of where he came from, he needs to get medical attention or he probably won't get better. Good luck and please keep us posted.

I know that the store you got this gecko from has a 14-day health guarantee. Since you have only had the gecko for 3 days, take the gecko back to the store and demand THEY take it to a vet.

It sounds like the gecko may have been injured somehow, perhaps a spinal injury? I also know that impaction can sometimes cause the symptoms you are describing if the gecko is in excruciating pain.

What can be done in the case of impaction?

You should follow the advice of all of the members who have posted in this and take your gecko to a reptile vet ASAP.

Regardless of how he/she is doing now, you should take it to a vet just to be safe. The condition of an animal can change very quickly, and it is always best to have a vet check over an animal just to be sure there is not a more serious problem.
