Oh goodness... I love being mushy! lol.

I have a question.

FOR YOU THAT HAVE RECIEVED A SHIPPED ENIGMA.

Did it act normal after shipping?

You know, I'm and old lady and have been breeding geckos for a l-o-n-g time. I have seen just about every 'new' morph from it's introduction! Not one of these 'new' morphs was without it's initial issues. NOT ONE!!!
You go Marcia. I hope to get my hug at Daytona again this year.

Our few Enigmas have equally sized ear openings.

The first amel African fat tails circled and rolled on the ground when exposed to even low light levels (Dactylus magazine, 1993). A good percentage of the first offerings of Aptors and Raptors exhibited kinked tails (pers. observation). After seeing some of the potential of things to come from the Enigmas I acquired a dozen Raptors from four different breeders and they're all flawless, not a kink to be seen. We as rabid gecko breeders/keepers/observers always seem to prevail.

Thank you all for all the insight, great thread.

My female, which is Rainwater Albino, misses her mealworms frequently, and seems a little unsteady. I think she is about a year and two months old...:?

So we just got into the genetics part of our Biology class today. The part Mallorie and I have been waiting for since the beginning of the term...lol.

We found out that disorders that can be tied to genetics are usually triggered by some sort of stress. So stress of shipping could be a trigger for the problem (among other sources of stress).

We also started to ask our professor leopard gecko specific questions and she said she believes that if the problem was neurological, it would be degenerative.

Just some more info to throw into the mix.
