IL SUCKS! haha j/k :D I've never even been there before. Thank you everyone for all of your comments!!

We WILL be driving there in a UHAUL too, so maybe we can stop by and meet people on our way up! That would be sweet :D

YAY EAST COAST !!!!!

But I would actually like to try NoCal or even further north like Washington or Oregon. I have also always dreamed about living in CO. Not the desert part of course but the mountainous area. But I also love living here in West Virginia.

SAME HERE BUDDY! I absolutely LOVE Oregon, I spent many summers there growing up, and having the beach, plus the forest/woods, all at the same time? LOVE IT! I think Washington would be awesome too :)

Aww I'm happy for you. Things seem to be moving really quickly for you, but it sucks that you'll have to get rid of a few of your pets :( .
Yeah, it really breaks our hearts, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.. and as long as they go to good people and have loving homes, that's what matters most :main_yes:

I do love Arizona, but California is my favorite state. I'm so jealous! I think you'll love being closer to your family once the baby is born. It's always good to have babysitters close by, too. My daughter has so many grandparents that we've never once had to find her a babysitter and she's 11! It helps a lot! I have a friend in Auburn, CA. If I ever go out there to visit her, I'll have to visit with you, too.:) Jesse and I desperately want to move to CA in the future.

It has been very hard on me to be so far from my family, so this is going to be a very exciting change! I was only seeing my parents and brother once per year for the longest time. Last year was the very first year I saw them twice, and I have lived out here on my own for 5 years now. I hope that you and Jesse get all that you have ever hoped for, and meet us some day in CA :D

The eggs wouldn't necessarily be a loss. We've hatched eggs that came on a 5 hour drive to us in a insulated box and an egg that made it through hurricane Ike without power for 10 days and they were all healthy. If you want to try to transport them I say go for it, just pack them in a cooler and don't drop it.

Thank you Mel, I didn't even think of that!

Sweet deal, guys! It'll be great to have you just a few minutes from us here in the bay area. :) Do you have a move date set-up yet? I'd be happy to help if you guys need anything... welcome back to NorCal! :)

Yup yup!!! We don't have a date set-up yet because we just have SO much to figure out right now.. taking little baby steps ;) Thank you!

Holy huge congrats on the baby, Jess!! Wowza! I can really tell I've been outta the loop for like 5 months now! That's so cool! I'm glad you'll be making a move that should make you happy, as well. A bad move can really mess with your head and make you unhappy! :( I think the situation surrounding this new move is a very positive, happy one, indeed! :D

MARI!! Thank you! Yes, it will definitely take you awhile to get all caught up on the things you've missed! I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK, I was so worried about you sweetie!!!! YAY!! Seeing you has really made my day :D

And yeah, my move to AZ was def. one of those bad moves.. we just can't wait to have a nice fresh start in somewhere new, it's going to be good for the both of us because we've been in a rut for a very long time.

NOOOO!!! i wanted to meet you... well i guess its good that your moving closer to your family... and if you dont mind me asking who are the animlas going to??

We can still meet! We have an idea of who may want our cats and we already found a home for the dog, but let me know if you are interested in a snow corn snake or an African Ghost Land Crab! The crab is AWESOME, I had just gotten her not too long ago.. here's a pic of her sleeping.. thought it was cool b/c it was my first time not seeing her eyes open :) She is HUGE and requires a 40 gallon tank because she can get to be as big as a softball.

I can DEFINITELY handle a 8 or 9 hour drive (at least I think it would be about that)!!!! Make sure you have a bed (or couch) ready...I'm going to be a regular visitor :sweetheart: ESPECIALLY when the little one arrives :main_yes:

I am going to hold you up to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lodi is about 30-45 minutes drive from me! I hope we can get together when you get settled!

YES it sure is!! :D My very first time going to San Francisco was also my very first time visiting my parents in Lodi, and it didn't take long at all for us to get there.. such a beautiful city, I loved every minute of it :) You KNOW we have to have some martinis with the MOGL! :D I say we meet at Bubba Gumps! ;)

We actually don't have a 40 gallon yet! We have her in a 20 gallon because she is still small. Well, she is HUGE for a crab, but small because she is going to get MUCH bigger ;) It's fine for now, but she would definitely need to upgrade later :main_yes: We did want to keep our 20 gallon, so that would not be included. But she is absolutely free to you if you want her! Otherwise, we'll be taking her to the AZ Reptile Center.

Congrats... AZ is not for the faint of heart.. CA is much better, but of course I'm much more of a Southern Cal girl.. :) BTW, east cost... not that cool. No really it's not.. haha.

I'm a winter-type of person, so yeah, AZ is NOT the place for me!!

But we love the east coast for the mountains and forests.. you could technically put us anywhere with mountains and forests, and we'd be just as happy :D

Can you ship land crabs, Jess?

If you can, we will take her; if she doesnt already have a home. And pay you back the shipping costs
