Finally!! First baby of the season

This season has gotten off to an incredibly slow start, with many infertile clutches and only 5 eggs incubating as of this morning. But we finally got our first baby today, incubated for female, from these two parents:

Xavier, Jungle RAPTOR (2 solid eyes)

Enola, Super Snow Enigma

The baby is nothing extravagent, just a Mack Snow, but she's also 100% het. RAPTOR. I expected some Jungly goodness but she's not Jungle at all.. that's okay though

Paul, yes. The Super Snow Enigma's father was the first Super Snow that we produced from LBS x MS. Her mother is from Albey as well, although she is a Mack fascio. cross Enigma Two of our pairings for our Dreamsicle projects have LBS lineage in some way or another, we have the one pair pictured here, plus our LBS x Nova, who's first babies should hatch on St. Patrick's Day

Thad, we must have posted at the same time, but yes, she does.. our main goal for the next couple of seasons is to produce the first Dreamsicles and Snow RAPTORs that have LBS (Albey) lineage and thanks for the comments

Haha, yeah, she's got quite the personality already! I was just trying to take pics of her in the moist hide and then she turned to face me and crawled straight up onto my arm :sweetheart:

Thanks, that's happened to me before too.. I cut them open when I know they're duds just to see what's inside, is it goo? Is it a underdeveloped baby? etc.. one time we found a baby that had a second head.. three eyes total, the middle eye being shared between the two.. very interesting stuff indeed.
