Formal Apology from the head hater

My fellow geckoforum.net memebers,

I created a thread that seemed to upset some people, myself included. I would like to take this time to apologize to any and all members i may have offended at any point, past or present. I did not start a thread for drama or to fight with people, i feel it came out VERY wrong, and that was all on ME. Again, i am sorry.

I feel people took my survey the wrong way, but i do not blame them, again that was all on me and i am sorry. Hate is a strong word and yes, it was a bad choice of terminology. I should have said, "which morph do you like the least." We all have our favorite morphs, some love them all and thats great, so when someone says they, "hate" another persons favorite morph it must hurt a feeling or two. Especially a breeder who waits patiently for weeks for that special little egg to hatch and then when seeing that new life for the first time its no wonder they can see no wrong or ugliness in it. I am not a breeder, i do not get to experience that, and THAT is what i did NOT take into consideration when i expressed my opinions. I am sorry for that.

I would never do anything to hurt or offend any one on this site for any reason. I love this site, i visit it several times a day. I have over 1000 posts and i own several reptiles and many pets. What i loved the most about this site were its people, the members, the breeders, all the love and knowledge that they all shared together with those who did not know and with those who wanted to know more. I have been helped MANY times from MANY people on this site and i thank all of them. Thinking that i offended one or more of these members deeply saddens me. I am sorry for that.

I COULD have started another rude thread bashing people or morphs but i am above all that and i feel too many people on this site are above that as well so it would be pointless. I am sorry if anyone feels i am a hater, i never wanted to be branded as one who hates any leo. I realize i used the word hate, and for that again i am sorry it was careless on my part.

If i have to i will delete my account and leave this site to rejoin it under a new name. I hope i do not have to do that as this apology is as real as i can make it. Please understand there has been NO sarcasm in this in anyway. If you read it that way, that is incorrect. I am being truthful. There is no need to keep putting up hater scores or new threads using sarcastic terms from previous posts to prove points, i think we all get the point and i HOPE we are all mature enough to just drop this. In fact no one should even post in this thread as that would just be prolonging this stupid mistake on my part. I just hope you read it and believe me when i say, i am sorry because i want everyone to know that. That is the reason for this apology. I like the jokes and funny comments people leave for each other, i can certainly take a joke and i also can tell when someone has been hurt by something i said. I wasn't trying to start anything, i am really surprised by how much my one little poll started and how people took it. Again, that is my fault.

In closing i would just like to point out to MYSELF, that if leos had no skin they would be all the same color. and also, CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??? After all we are here for our love of the little creatures that touch our hearts everyday, aren't we? -Bodon

11 people in that poll "hated" enigmas and my thread was a humorous reply to that and nothing more.

haha paul. I don't think it was in any way defensive, i thought i t was actually interesting to find out what people are an are not interested in at this time period. So i actually found out it's quite informative!

I know that you didn't want anyone to post on this tread but I just have a few things to say.......... I honestly think your poll was a good idea........ yeah you may have used the wrong words but it's still a good poll!!!!! I didn't vote because I'm one of the people that love them all lol but I'm sure that the people that you may have offended can find it in their hearts to forgive you!!!! I don't think you should have or need to delete your account!!!! Don't worry your still loved

I didn't find the thread particularly offensive... Yeah, the word 'hate' probably wasn't the best choice but your meaning was pretty clear, it's obvious that you don't actually hate any leos. I think it was a good idea to post what we think isn't interesting, and follow up with what we think is. In theory, it could even be a good reference for serious breeders, to know what there isn't as much of a market for. I think that if certain people got offended they just took things out of context, and it wasn't really necessary.

I wasn't offended by the post at all, but am very passionate about my projects.

I think our passion for the animals we own and produce is why we are here and it sometimes gets the best of us.

I agree with the other comments. you could have used a different term than hate but that is hindsight. I think on the breeders end it was informative. you get to see what people like as far as morphs go and what they do not like. I dont hate any morph, but I was never really into patternless. Now dont get me wrong I have seen some beautiful patty's but as a whole I just find them kind of boring..They really do not do anything for me. I myself love enigmas, I love the crazy colors that pop up where you would not expect them to. this is just my thoughts on the subject.

Well i was one of those 11 that say that hate enigmas. i think that just like all dominant genes they are over produce in the first 2 years and then people take the approach and really just to refine them. That's just my opinion from reading back how the Snows came out and it was the same as the Enigma.

It may take me some time to put on in my collection but right now i have no use for one. When i can look at so many good looking ones on here why would i want to have an ugly one in my collection.

Seriously bro, the hater thread was fine... There are morphs out there some of us are not crazy about... The thing that upset me was the reply to my thread and Pauls thread... Paul and myself put those threads up to 1, show that enigmas are not all dull and a-symmetrical and 2, poke fun at the thread you posted... Nothing personal at all...

I do not think there is a need for you to change your user name or anything bro... If it counts for anything, I took no offence to your thread and found it pretty funny... I just did not like the immature comment in my thread and your post in Pauls... But hey, there have been many times I wrote things other people did not like so I would never hold that against you...

As far as my score keeping goes, I was just being humorous and it wasn't anything personal. I don't hold any grudges at all. I don't think deleting or changing a username is necessary. It's not that serious. People are always going to disagree, it's the way of the world. We all made valid points, we just have different perspectives that's all. Peace.

I personally wasnt offended and actually wasnt that into the enigma morph until I actually got one. I have set aside my nicest holdbacks to breed to the awsome enigma I ws given and went from not that into to being almost as excited about them as some of my fatty projects! anyway I think pauls, gregs and even my post have shown the pottential of the enigmas and what kind of crazy colors and patterns can be acheived from these amazing geckos. I guess my point is that maybe your oppinion would change after you ve had one,and this is just the oppinion of a fatty breeder

every one is entitled to an opinion thats what makes this America, And there wiil always be people who do not like certain projects thats life. But in the end ultimately It all comes down to how you feel about a certain morph and if you like it and it makes you happy than thats what matters it all goes back to haveing your own opinion and not careing what anyone else thinks, people may not buy them but If you love your animals and you like the morph really who cares at least your happy!!!! I think your appology is sincere, so I would'nt worry.
