Finally a glimpse of the mysterious Seamus... had to cut off the head in that pic tho didn't ya

I didn't cut the head off the pic. It was cut off by the owner of the snake, who was selling it at the time and didn't want me uglying up their ad on KS.

I actually care about them more that anything else. I make sure they have the best care and when I do happen to sell some of them (which everybody does.. sorry it is reality buddy) I make sure they go to good homes. I even keep in touch with some people who I gave 1 of my snakes to. I have only sold 3 animals.... it's not like the world will blow up when people in the reptile community decide to sell their pets or breeders that they no longer need. EVERYBODY DOES IT!

Ted is a breeder, I think he knows that it is a reality that people sell animals. :main_rolleyes: Also, I have a gecko that HE sold to me & he was never insensitive about it. Maybe YOU should figure out some facts about certain people before you tell THEM its a natural reality, lol. :main_rolleyes:

That's almost cruel 'cause I KNOW she'd have a TON to say on the responses... but not having the drama is nice. Guess it's kinda like the ultimate "just shut up and listen" thing huh.

I appreciate the defense Nancy, but I don't think it's necessary. For one, the OP's response made up of nonsense and (once again) half-a$$ed excuses did plenty to make my case for me and I only feel validated by said response. And two, he/she is no longer around to continue this little (and I'll preen a bit here) extremely one-sided battle of wits. I only continued this to provide a bit of clarification about bloods for anyone else who might read this and be considering the species. To sum things up; no the original poster did not know a single factual thing about blood pythons. No you cannot keep a 2-3 foot blood python in a 28 quart tub, and yes they generally will bite you at some point, all snakes will, but with bloods it's more often than not usually. Yes they require extremely large housing as adults(minimum 4ftX2ft floor space) and yes they can seriously hurt you despite being "only" 6-7 feet long on average. Class dismissed. :p
