Has he drunk any water? If not try giving him water. It might help.

Gave him water and fed him last night, still nothing :( his colors appear to be fading, especially his tail, not sure if this means anything or not though.

I have looked at all the posts and this does not look like a prolapse to me either. Mine had a prolapse and I had to take him to a vet, which I understand may not be an option right now. She had to stitch him so it would stay in. This looks more like an infection probably internal. You definitely need some anibiotics. Just keeping it sterile will be the best bet right now. Have you tried cleaning with maybe peroxide on a Q-Tip? I have heard people using it before. What does anyone think of that? I have never had to use peroxcide on any leo before so I am not positive on if that is an option or not. Good Luck and I hope you can get to a vet soon.

Oh I just thought of something else...maybe you can email a local vet a pic and your situation. They may be able to at least tell what is the problem but may not be able to give you advice on treatment though.

Guys, I have phenomenal news! I came back from a long day of being out and saw that he had pooped. I was upset at first because it was NOT, by all means, a normal poop. But then i realized that his coloring looked bright and normal. He must have shedded, which is a little strange because he just did recently. I checked him out though, and here's the best news: the area that looked infected now looks almost 100 % normal! It's a little red but that huge black/purple scab-looking thing is gone! maybe the area was infected, turned into a scab and fell off when he shedded? i found the scab thing in his moist box. So anyway- not sure WHAT in the world was wrong with him, but it looks as if he should make a full recovery! :)
