In the second picture it looks possible that there's enough carrot tail to call it that, but it's borderline. What's most noticeable, actually, is that it's very skinny. Hopefully it just needs some feeding and will start looking better, but if it doesn't it will need a vet visit.

Well judging from the pictures date of being taken you've already started to fatten it up. I agree with sunshinegeckofarm though and maybe as it grows up it might get more orange in the tail.

I don't know, it looks to me like it has lost some weight in between pics.

Possibley but I thought the tail looked a little fatter but I guess my eyesight isn't all that great either... sorry if im wrong...

Miranda, by the date on the pictures the first photo is more recent than the second. I assumed the opposite as well.

I would call it a Super Hypo Tangerine Baldy that desperately needs to put on weight and be properly supplemented.

You've got a very ill gecko on your hands, you need to make a vet trip ASAP. What are you feeding him/her? How much? How often? My first suggestion is to get to a vet as soon as possible and have her checked out!

Let us know where you are located. Maybe someone here knows about a vet near you. There is a recipe for a puree you can make to feed a gecko that doesn't want to eat, but temporarily you can also give it some warm chicken baby food. Not the best idea, but easy to do and will provide some calories. Make sure the floor of her tank on the hot side is warm enough so she can digest her food.

I know there is strong feeling that a person who can't afford to take care of an animal shouldn't have it, but it isn't a useful thing to say when the person already has the animal and is here trying to get some help. I think the most useful thing to do first, is to recommend some simple things to try and to see if we can help find a vet. I think the best time for the scolding (which, though true, drives people away) is after we've suggested simple remedies if the person doesn't try them and just keeps complaining.

What are her housing conditions? A weight loss of that magnitude seems rather quick. Has she been defecating properly?

OK this post doesn't seem right at all, you have a new leopard gecko your first one and you want to know the Morph it is :main_thumbsdown: you dont even notice how BAD of shape its in, And the ONLY way a gecko gets like that is by Owner(s)

i looked at your first Post from other page and you said

hello,

i hav one female leo gecko..but it is not active like that time i bought from my friend....n when i handle it to clean the bedding..it dun move...but when i bought it n take home it very active on my hand. help!

Really you didn't even think of telling the forums that the gecko is VERY skinny, even if this is your first reptile, pet,or the first Animal you ever saw. How can you not realize its VERY SKINNY? and sick? :annoyed:

that gecko needs a vet, food, and very better care.

I'm going to be horrendously and bluntly honest here. If you did not realize that your first gecko was sick until people on the internet pointed it out, then you really have no business breeding leos. Please please PLEASE for the sake of these animals, take up another hobby. Like baseball cards.
