Awesome thread. Can you tell me a little about the traits of the Anaconda morph? Their bellies remind me of "Indian" corn (maize).

Ken, their belly patterns are so variable, even between clutch mates... They are really cool and one of my favorite things about hogs...

The anaconda belly is solid black and more symmetrical compared to normal hog bellies...

That is one of the anaconda hognose traits... That is the best way to tell them apart because some anaconda hogs can look almost normalish sometimes at hatching... The anaconda hog is the only proven codominant gene within the hognoses... The super form is a patternless hog... The superconda is very nice looking but I think that regular condas can be much more beautiful...

Thanks, I'm not real familiar with Hognose morphs from a genetic standpoint. I really like the Mexican Tri-color Hogs, and the Axanthic and Pastel Pink Westerns a lot. The Westerns I like are very costly, so if I were to get any Hognose it would probably be a Mexican Tri-color at this point.
