I have a female thats 51g's but only 9 months old. How big would you recommend I should get her to be safe and have a smaller risk of something going wrong?

9 months is about right for breeding age. You could breed a 51 g female, but to be the safest I would wait until she's 55-60.

Not to jack the thread, but I have a similar issue. I have a female that is just about 9 months old. She's 64 grams. But...she's smaller-framed--maybe about 6 inches long. Definitely so much smaller than the males im considering putting her with. (they're 8 and 9 inches, 90 and 107 grams respectively) Should I wait until she's fully grown or is it safe to breed her now?

even though she has a small frame than your male she should be fine.

+1, I have a huge 113g male that when he breeds to his females which range between 65-75g they still look tiny compared to him. They all manage just fine and they have never had any problems.
