THERE'S A 10 MONTH OLD WHO WAS USED AS A WEAPON AND HAS A FRACTURED SKULL AND BLEEDING IN THE BRAIN, A 3 YEAR OLD IS SHOT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD, EXECUTION STYLE BY GANG MEMBERS, A NEWBORN IS LEFT IN SOME GUYS BACK YARD WITH UMBILICAL CORD AND PLACENTA STILL ATTACHED AND MOTHER'S ARE OUT THERE ABUSING AND KILLING, THAT'S RIGHT, KILLIING THEIR OWN CHILDREN. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

AS A SOCIETY, WE'RE BASICALLY SCREWED, CAN THE DECENT PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY EVEN BEGIN TO BALANCE OUT THE MESSED UP STUFF THAT IS GOING ON?

THERE ARE SOME CRAZY EVIL PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY WHO DO THESE THINGS WITH NO REASON. KIDS ARE STARTING FIGHTS ON THE BUSSES OVER SOMETHING SOMEONE SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THERE WAS A LOCKDOWN AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LESS THAN A MILE FROM MY HOUSE TODAY CAUSE SOME KIDS BROUGHT IN GUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if and of the above offends anyone, but I'm sick of seeing this crap, people need to see that acting rashly doesn't get them anywhere, wisen up, and act ilke human beings...I don't even think there are any animals out there who act like this. I sometimes wonder, are we really the highest on this planet....or are we the lowest.

What really makes me sick is all the child molestation and kidnapping you hear about when you watch the news. WTF! I have no kids, but do have 14 nieces and nephews and worry about them a lot because of the twisted people out there.

Yeah, it sucks that there are wicked terrible people out there but, HOW do you figure the government, the body run by child molesters and liars and theives, would be better than what we have now, a government run by child molesters, liars and thieves.

Nor is this thread a reason to bash someone for their thoughts, personally I think there are many people who should be banned from reproducing. Maybe if there were bans on that, there would be less animosity and psychos out there

Isn't there people tht are corrupted is almost every part of society these days? Lets take religion for example, if a prist sexually abuse a child would that mean that the church was for such an act? Even do your statement is probably somewhat true it would be individual people not the system. To say thats it RUN by such people to me is like saying just doesn't seem right to me.

Actually I do believe the government is partly to blame for how our society has changed since I was a kid. They have gotten in the way of disciplining our children, time outs don't work for all children. People are afraid to give their kids a spanking when needed because of being accused of child abuse.

And to top it off murders and rapist get less jail time then drug dealers. I'm not saying drug dealers shouldn't get the time they get, but I think murders and rapist should get the same time, if not more.

It also doesn't help that TV and Radio are aloud to use words that we were not aloud to say as children.

How can our children win? We try our hardest to keep these bad things from them, but society throws it right into their face. It's hard to explain that some things are wrong when they see it every day and being done by people that are in power. Children have to grow up so much faster now days and don't get to be kids for long. I feel sorry for my kids' kids, I can't imagine how bad it will be by then.

I agee with you Felicia. When you turn on the TV all you see is drugs, Sex, and Violence. We as adults understand it as entertainment. But it is hard for children to determine what is real and what is not when there favorite actor is turned into a murderer in a movie or there favorite pop singer suddenly turns into a woman and decides she would rather focus more on taking her clothes off then producing a good album. It's hard to shield children from these things. Even the cartoon network turns to adult programs after hours. I'm not saying I don't enjoy adult swim but maybe it should be on a different channel rather then one children may be watching when they fall asleep and wake up and this adult content is on the TV. I am not a parent but I imagine it is very hard to keep your children from seeing things they should not. You just have to do your best.

As for the government...I'm not even going to go there. I don't feel Like starting a war. There is enough of that going around.
I will say though the govenment should not be in control of who can and can not reproduce because In my opinion some of them would be on that list.

I agree with what Felicia says! When I was younger I swore I wouldn't bring a child into this world because of how bad things were becoming. Mine you I am 44 years old now so, so much more has changed. I do have a 12 year old daughter though and she was home schooled for three years of her life. It wasn't until last year she decided she wanted to go to school. I worry everyday because of school shooting. I was here in the DC area when the snipers were killing people by drive by shootings. That scared the crap out of me and it was then I had taken my daughter out of school. I try and talk as much as possible to her about people that can harm her too but you know many times its a trusted friend or some peer. So now matter wha twe do its going to happen to someones child. And the best thing we can do is just make sure we watch our kids more and tell them about things that can happen. And pray it doesn't happen. As for the government I have a problem with them from years before I was born about how the Native Americans land was taken( I am Part Native American) And on my car I have a Bumpersticker that reads: "Sure we can trust the Government! Just ask a Indian." I know not everyone in Government is bad but its just a general statement.
