I want a snake...

I want a snake but I dont like how big most get ,is there a type of snake that only gets like 2 1/2- 3 feet long when full grown. Is there someone who can help me...

garter snakes,hognose snakes and I personally love the cornsnakes even though they get a little bigger then 3ft,but they are great snakes to have.

Yeah, plus Corn Snakes are way easy to care for.

Another couple you may want to look into are Sand Boas and Rosy Boas.

Most don't exceed 5'.

Yes, but you could wrap your index finger and thumb around them, they don't really get all that big around like a ball python.

My husband keeps/breeds king snakes and I own two, bitty things!

Kenyan Sand Boas are nice, Rosys tend to be bitty, both have a couple of morphs.

I've never known a rubber boa to bite, but good luck finding those, took me foregever to find the ones I added to our collection last month.

Corn or male ball python is what I'd go with.

I would say just about any North American Colubrid aside from Pituophis or any of the larger Lampropeltis species.

You could look into Rosy Corns, AKA Key Corns. They only get around the 2 1/2 foot mark on average and are very easy to take care of. If you lived a bit closer to me, I have one up for adoption that has a gimped tail But still a nice snake.

I dont know why people haven't suggested a ball python, the males will rarely exceed 4-5 foot, they are really easy to care for, they get a lot more stocky then kings milks or corns, and they are amazing to watch strike feed.
So i would suggest either a King(although have a tendancy to be a big aggressive) Milk, corn or Ball python.

Corns can get large... I think a hognose would be a good choice here... They are simple to care for, rarely bite, dont get big, and they come in cool morphs these days... They are better than corns for more than just what I listed...
