Irian Jayas and Jungles 10-20-09

Hi all,

Just snapped some pics of a couple Morelia in our collection tonight. Was hoping to get at least one shot of a python striking but everyone was calm tonight

The last pic is my favorite and I was almost certain "Sweet Pea" was gonna deliver an open mouth shot but she didn't.......

I have at least 2 Jungle projects that are a go but I may have to wait till next year on the IJ's. I had one female get an RI so if the vet says no way then I will have to retire her until next year, safety first

The other IJ is so close to weighing what I want her to so ...... hopefully I can make that one happen

I will! I'll keep you updated so if I do get a clutch I'll send you a PM. Irians are pretty sweet. They kinda grew on me over the last couple of years. They are almost taking over my Jungles as far as numbers in the collection go Sweet Pea is cool too because she is 50% Darwin and poss het Albino :main_rolleyes:

As far as I know, there is no diamond in those Jungles. The really black and vivid yellow jungles were produced by Andrew Hare from his Highlighter male x Princess (Jake Milbrandt) pairing in 07 and 08. I own 3 of those jungles that you see in this thread. The Highlighter male is of unknown origin but as far as I was told does not have diamond blood.

Yeah, I was just wondering. What with all the mixing of carpets, you never know...

they have unique patterns for jungles. I like them very much. And those irian jayas have some lovely color to them.
