what vet makes appointments by email? I've never heard of this...

And did you receive appointment confirmation or are you just going to swing by and hope the clinic got your message and has time for you, a vet and a room available, etc?

It is possible to make an appt. at 1am. I work at a 24hr animal clinic, I am at work right now and can certainly make an appt. for anyone of our clients right this very second...
That being said though, there are not many 24hr clinics, certainly not reptile clinics, so I do agree and highly dont believe that you have made an appt. Jacob. I could be wrong, but I just think you are saying that you have made an appt. because you are being called out on being an irresponsible owner.

There are no "home remedies" Not for any type of animal! I hate this question when I get phone calls at the emergency clinic. All it says to me is, "My animal is not worth seeing a vet and I am not spending money on it". That is sad. These and all other animals are completely dependent on us for food, shelter, medical attention, etc. If you have animals and have not made a plan for when you animals get sick, to take care of it, whether you are 14 or not, you are completely irresponsible and should not own animals. The situation at hand was completely your fault whether you want to claim it to be or not.
I agree with everyone, give your animal to someone who can take care of it. That poor leopard gecko. That should have never had happened. You are old enough to claim responsibility and you should do so.

While I agree that he should take responsibility for his gecko (as should his parents since he is not old enough to make a legal contract with whichever vet he ends up going to), jumping on the kid is going to accomplish absolutely nothing productive. Instead, he, as well as others, will read the response posts and decide that it will be better off never asking questions or asking for help, instead of coming forward with the issue just to be bashed and lectured.

He knows the gecko needs help. He knows he's responsible. Do the kid a favor and give him productive HELPFUL responses... and keep the bashing to yourself. Otherwise, people will never be able to ask questions for fear of criticism instead of advice.

To the OP: You need to tell your parents and get him taken to a vet. Hopefully they'll be able to help the gecko out.

Stomlin, there's only so much you can say to a kid who a) has an injured animal that needs medical attention and b) "can't" get that medical attention.

I agree, some of these posts are a little harsh, but nothing untrue has been said here..

I completely agree Khrysty.
On top of that. I really dont see why he "cant" go to a vet. It sounds more like he doesnt want to take it to a vet.

that is basic, routine care. not just something you do when a leo gets hurt. his food should always be gut loaded, dusted several times a week, a dish of calcium/vitamins available 24/7, and warm baths given when in shed. these are things you do from start to end in a healthy leos life, not things you do just when hes hurt or sick. youre extremely lucky he is not seriously injured. i hope this experience and the things that were said here help you to realize your responsibility as an animal owner and help you own up to what happens in your own life. i understand some people may feel i and some others were harsh but imo it is much better for you to learn this lesson here than somewhere else down the road. weve all had to grow up and take responsibility of our own actions, its just part of life. now its your turn.

....? LOL
did the vet relocate the leg or something? How does medicine help relocate a bone. And you should of provided calcium powder and gut loaded food before the leo hurt his/her leg. How did it end up on the floor anyway?

It's hard to figure out what you meant by "can u guys stop like stop telling my that i dout what im doing" but I'm thinking you meant to stop telling you that you don't know what you are doing??? If that is what you meant than why are you posting questions on here at all? The people on here may seem harsh but are only trying to help your gecko. Sometimes the truth hurts and it may not be what you want to hear, but its in your pets best interest. I hope for your pets sake that you did take him to a vet and if not that you decide to. Its your responsibility!
