My new gecko rack, I bought the shelf for 20 bucks it was pretty simple to put together but it was made so one half would lay on top of it and was only held in place with Pegs, so to make it stronger we used a nail gun. we added Peg bored to the back so i would be able to wire it with heat, then i stained it so it would look good! all together the rack its self (rack, stainer, and pegboard) came to a total around $38 something. i really Loved how it turned out!

That looks great! Did you use heat cable or heat tape? And it heats all the containers just fine through the back? (Matt and I are looking to build something... and we don't know what yet haha)

It looks good. It seems like some of those tubs are small for the geckos that are in there.

I really don't care for back heat. I had tried it first on my rack and had problems with it heating to 95 degrees on the hot side. I hade to turn the heat tape all the way up to get enought heat to reach 95. I like using belly heat but thats just me.

Good job on the rack!
