Remember that in New England the temperatures can really change so you'll have to anticipate when to put them back in the incubator if it gets really hot or really cold.

why not just leave them in the incubator? sounds like alot of work putting them back and taking them out everyday.

In and out of the inc. is only allowing the eggs to experience radical temp changes which will have a negative affect on the development of the embryo. Just keep them in a incubator where the temps wont fluctuate much.

I would go with what EG is saying. Trust them -- they've been doing this a while!

And in my personal experience, any sort of temperature fluctuation over 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit can cause physical deformities such as notched or missing eyelids. Something I personally wouldn't want to take a chance with.

ummm....

please tell me the purpose of in and out of the incubator instead of in all the time? do you not have a good enough thermostat to keep the temps consistent? i mean i don't get it

I can't think of one good reason to take the risk in doing this. If it works for you, by all means go ahead. Let us know what hatches.

please don't take offence to what people are suggesting to you. We're here to help u out.The method you suggested on the whole would create more deformities than not.I'm sure you would like healthy hatchlings correct?Anyway it's nice to know your using the incubator again.

Not sure if I'd go on someone's foray year breeding, especially if their setup, location, etc was identical to yours. That person may have had success but without every tiny detail equal, it would be hard to base everything off that.

It's good to hear, you're back to the incubator. They don't use that much power, at least the smaller ones don't.
