That is really bad fight wounds. I always worry about that. Once, my female bit my other females leg trying to get a mealworm. Nothing happened, but i was so scared. It is really dangerous.

I think it is normal for reptiles to heal extremely slow. With the extent of the bites, I would think it'll take months to completely heal (and she will open up the wounds during sheds everytime). I think as long as there is no infection going on, she should pull through eventually. Keep the hopes up!

Aw that's looking a LOT better. I think if she's eating even tho with assistance that she deserves a chance to recover as she is making slow but steady progress. Keep up the good work, sending good vibes your way.

Just curious but have you tried letting her hunt/feed on her own yet aside of the hand fed slurry?

Would you feel comfortable leaving a shallow dish with a couple mealies or a couple supers in it (as long as they can't escape) overnight just to see if she has any interest on eating on her own?

I have been following this thread since you posted, but I didn't have anything to contribute.

Anyways, I wish you the best of luck! If I lost my leo, I would be so sad. You are a very good person to take it to the vet. I have a lot of respect for people like you. I hope your leo gets better. It looks a LOT better!

I did try leaving a bowl of wax worms in her tank a few days ago, as they are her fave but she didnt care :main_no:

I know a lot of ppl say that geckos don't feel things like loneliness but she so is. shes used to coming out every day for cuddles and when i got her out today for her bath she didnt want to go back.
