Here's an update. It's interesting to me how she is changing. More greenish, which makes sense knowing her background. And recently, reddish spots have been popping up. Bring 'em on, I say.
Here she is:

Kevin,

Thanks for the update! I haven't worked with Enigmas long enough to see many from hatchling into adulthood. The changes seem to be quite variable and it sure keeps them interesting. The father of your female is the one I have up for sale in the classifieds and in the past month or so, he has started to color up all of a sudden? It's actually to the point where I'm debating whether or not I really want to sell him.

#1- I hate identification questions, mainly because I don't know what I'm talking about.

#2- I don't know, but raptors can have snake eyes, they just have to be red. My knowledge of the subject is now sufficiently exhausetd.

Very nice, I'm liking the spots. Wouldn't it be a BEE het Tremper though, because of the snake eyes?

I've been giving this a bit of thought, and I still don't get it. Are we talking about what term to use, or are you saying that genetics are incorrect?

If it's got snake eyes, does that mean that it is homo for the ruby eyes, but that it's not a tremper, and that's why they are black snake eyes? IF that's what you mean, then I get it. If not, I don't get it.

Seriously, spell it out. I own this one, so I want to know to what to call it, otherwise folks are going to know I don't know what I'm talking about... :D

BEE = Eclipse Eyed Enigma. So an engima with snake eyes(or full black eyes, Eclipse can have varying amounts) is in fact a BEE. She would be het tremper because one parent was in fact homozygous for tremper albino. BEE is just a trade name for Eclipse enigma.

Anyways, she's a very nice animal. :)

Through a long a very painful time of thinking about this, I think I now understand. In a way, it's just a title, a clarifying one though. BEE het. tremper is more accurate than than the het. raptor, since it tells what trait is the het. Yeah?

Thanks for the light on this...

Yep. "het raptor" is often a confusing term(I personally dont like it), all it usually means is one parent was in fact a raptor. Theres so much variation when it comes to raptors that all you're garunteed in the genes of a "het raptor" is tremper albino and eclipse. And since your gecko is a visual enigma eclipse(or BEE whatever you want to call it) thats het for tremper albino, BEE het tremper is a bit more accurate way of labeling it. RAPTOR itself I think it's a silly name for a beautiful morph anyways imo. lol

But, she's gorgeous, and should make some great babies!
