So here is my new little guy (or girl)...

*10 Gallon Tank w/Screen lid
*Accu-Rite Digital Thermometer/Hygrometer with probe.
*Gatorade Caps...3 of them...water,calcium,meal-worms (just for when he wants them in between cricket feedings)
*Warm-side hide/Cool-side Hide (half TP rolls)
*Humid Hide-Tupperware container with damp paper-towel.
*Driftwood...that doesn't allow him to get too high off the ground, but gives him something to climb around on/under.
*Super fancy (haha) desert background.

Using white printer paper as the substrate. Had him on paper-towel, but the crickets where getting under and hiding. Takes 4 sheets, somewhat over-lapped to cover the floor and fits better then folded up paper-towel. Probe is taped directly to this over the UTH.

77.9 on cool side
91.5 on warm side

Let me know what you think...I am totally open to comments/compliments/and most importantly criticism. I haven't owned one for about 5 years and I was in highschool at the time....so any criticism is actually appreciated.

Oh ya...he has a piece of stuck shed on the top middle of his head, after reading up, I decided to leave it until after his next shed....

Speck's the name...

Thats a very nice gecko, don't be worried, you can just pick the shed off with a pair of tweezers or your hand.

Other then that your gecko looks cool and the set up is nice.

Thank you all...

On the first one I had, I had him for about two years and I was in high school. Didn't know a ton about them and proper setup. I mean, I had the temps right, and had hides, water, and calcium dish...but didn't have a humid hide. Used a heat lamp. And used sand as the substrate. I ended up giving him away to someone when I got married.
This time I want to do it right.....
When he gets a little bigger I may go for a more naturalistic setup....but for now this seems to work well, and it's simple. :)

Thanks again,
Josh

Yep the brown will slowly fade away with age. I'm experiencing that with my young SHTCT.
