So my dad got a new puppy yesterday. It's a 4 month old bull mastiff. She doesn't have a name yet.

You guys have suggestions? I'm tired of saying "the puppy"

I've given him the following and he's not really been a fan:

Lily (he has liked this one the best but no confirmation)
Lacey
Macey
Gretchen
Lulu

silly names, but all I can think of.

What a gorgeous mug! She's adorable!

I'm not very good with names, but I think because Mastiffs are a bit clumbsy by nature, dorky is the right direction. And for that reason, I'd suggest "Daisy". :D

Maurice, my cousin has a dog named 'Daisy' so that probably wouldn't go over well with her. I'd never hear the end of it. Ha.

Heather, Willow is on the list I'm giving my dad to choose a name from.

Thanks Shelagh, Mel, and Doubelminttwin. She is a cutie. It's hard finding a name my dad likes. I'm bad with names unless I already have it picked out before I get the pet, which is what I try to do.

Her expression reminds me a lot of my pony's, for some reason. My pony is named Ellie, and I give you permission to use that name, if you would like. :D
Other suggestions:

Tango
Tessa / Tessie
Emma
Penny
Spooky (this one only really works if you add other names to your dog's name, like Spooky-Butt, or Spooky-Face, or Spooky-Pants)

I work at a groomer's, so I have a huge list of the best dog names ever. I really dislike the super-common names, like Princess, Bella, Shadow, etc.

Thank Melanie

Liz, I love Emma, but I don't think my cousin would appreciate it, as that's his daughter's name. Ha. That was one of the names I first thought of, but discounted it only as it's a family member's name. Ha. I do like Ellie though. Not sure if my dad will. I will add it to my list.

Thanks :)

I made a list of English names since the breed originated in England.

My dad liked Bayley the best, so her name is Bayley.
