Hi! i'm new here, and i've been waiting and waiting to get my gecko. I still dont have it yet, because i'm waiting to get my thermostat that i ordered online. Besides the thermostat, i have my tank set up. I believe i have everything set up correctly. I have a warm side (the side with the hammock) and a cool side (the side with the water dish and food dish). There is a moist hide on the warm side, which is the green leafy thing you see in the back corner, as well as another hide in the other corner. Im using an under tank heater as my heat source. On the cool side i have the water dish in the back corner, and another hide. The rock in the center is just because i like it, and my gecko can climb on it.

So, does my first set up look okay? The substrate is tile with sand under it.

Thank you for your opinions! :)

the moist hide is clear water bottle with green tint to it. I bought some fake leaves and cut them off the stems and hot glued them around the bottle. Then i glue three leaves in the opening like flaps as kinda a door way.

the sand is there because of the air pockets under the tile. I want the tank to heat up well.

Looks good, very colorful with the flowers in there ^_^ Like others said, just add a calcium dish. And I would get a screen top just to make sure your gecko can't escape, I even have one gecko I have to use screen locks for. But that's because he has a very tall hide and can touch the top.
