Well, mine have never pooped outside their tank. No matter when, or for how long I have them out. I do have a friend who's beardie always poops when he gets taken out though. Lol
A few times, but then I learned to anticipate it and chuck him unceremoniously back into the tank before he managed to decorate my shoulder or carpet.
The aroma was an excellent motivation.

Well, My leo pooped under my bed twice without me even knowing, till 3 days later when it was hard. Then she decides pooping under my bed wasn't good enough, she decides she will do it on my bed.
lol, what a random thread. My geckos have never pooped outside of their tanks for me, thankfully. But my boyfriend's female has peed on him before, shortly after he brought her home.
Ours has never had an accident while out and about with us. She's always out, either hanging out while we do our chores, or just getting some exercise. The only place she has ever gone is in her cage; always in the same exact spot. I love it! Makes it so easy to clean up! =)
I never thought about her bathroom habits outside her tank before...guess I just figured it wouldn't matter if she went or not...it's not hard to clean, so I never worried about it.
My female has no qualms about taking a dump outside of her tank, and I think does it intentionally because she normally only poops every 2-3 days (is fed every two days) but without fail, if I take her out daily, she will poop daily, on me, on my bed, on the floor, wherever. It's almost like she's marking her territory (if there is such a thing with Leos) since I have other geckos that roam in the same places she does. I've learned to follow her around with paper towel and throw it under her if she 'assumes the position'.
