One of my tattoos won an award at a tattoo convention over the weekend! It's always a cool feeling to know that other people think one of my tattoos is as good as I think it is. lol

My Dutch Buffalo won 1st/only place "Most Unique" and my tattoo artist's girlfriend won 1st place "Best Chest" and "Best Sleeve".

Not the best pic but I was having really bad allergies and forgot to bring benedryl.

Thanks guys!

Robin - My tattoo artist, Clint, designs all of them. I can come up with a very basic idea but I'm one of the least imaginative people on earth! The only direction I gave for this one was that I wanted a tattoo for Keith (who happens to be 1/4 Dutch and 3/4 Choctaw) and this is what he drew up. Cooler than a name tattoo (in my opinion)! lol

That is a sweet lookin' tattoo. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I am an artist as well and that tattoo is definitely a high caliber piece of artwork. I can appreciate all the subtle variations in the colors to give it depth. Expertly executed. Good job to you and Clint. WOW!!!

Congrats!! You have great looking tats. How did the chest tat feel? Part of my arm sleeve goes on to my chest. Actually my entire right chest is a dragons wing. Let me tell you i will never get ink on any part of either of my chests again.

It was pretty freaking bad! I can't even remember how many sittings my entire chest took but it was my first big tattoo and my skin would puff up after about an hour and a half and we'd have to stop. The sternum was the most sensitive part though. I'd say sternum/armpit/and ditch (inside elbow bend) are all tied for most painful places. lol

The worst painful reaction I've seen is around the nipple. When Keith had a huge coverup panel on his chest done it had to go right up to the areola to match the other side of his chest and it looked like he was convulsing! He usually sits well but he said it felt like someone was searing off his nipple with a hot iron. Yikes!
