I don't want to upset you. I know you are trying and I guess you can't afford a vet. The problem is that you can see there is more than just an impaction going on. If you look at the first video and this one, she continues to drop weight. Even if you clear the impaction I really think she has parasites and there is nothing at home that will help that. If she does not get the right medications she will slowly starve to death. You will just make her suffer longer. If you can't afford a vet or find someone that can take over, maybe it's best to put her down at least. I hate to say to put her down, but I also hate to see an animal suffer and die of starvation. Think about it and try really hard to get her the vet care she needs before it's too late.

Am not being hard headed. I know i can do something. I cant afford a vet. And i hate seeing an animal suffer. It is not much what my young age can do. She has not ate first the firest week and thats the time she dropped weight. Any clue why you might think that she might has parasites? Thanks

comon man...its not hard to see that shes sick. You say shes eating solids, crickets, mealies and wax...her poop should be solid not runny. You even said it in your video its runny NOT solid. Runny poop is an indication of something is wrong...we understand its hard for you to get around but theres things that are beyond your control and you should of prepared for that...clearly shes sick you need to do something. Runny poop is indication of parasites aswell...

*edit* honestly I'm no one to bash, and to be honest its better to try and help it rather then just leave it there...but if you cant come to the conclusion something is seriously wrong when her poop looks like that and her overall apperance after eating solids then you shouldnt own any pets. Stop trying to be a hero, theres some things that the owner cant help....your acting like impaction is her only problem clearly its not...id bet she has parasites. Stop posting here if your not going to a vet honestly, someone will close this thread very soon. Right now your being irresponsible by being stubborn saying you wont take her to a vet. Good job on getting her to eat, now give her treatment that you cant give so she can live...this is a forum...no one is out to get you...these are experienced people that know what there doing...no one is trying to bash you, you dont know everything...neither to the other members on here...but they sure do know alot more then you. and think to your self...what would happen if all your pets get sick...I dont get how you can go to sleep so easily knowing you have no vet to take your pets to if they become sick....*knock on wood*. good luck with you and your pet...rambo it up and get to a vet PLEASE.

See if you can find a reptile rescue near you. That would be the best option. Her prominent spine says a lot. She has a poor prognosis. It would be extremely expensive to provide the care she needs with the severity of her condition. The care is beyond what you can imagine. That would be her only chance.

Hey guys! After calling over dozen vets one made it for me. I ve been on waiting call for half of them and rest just dont do reptiles. I got a contact in one of them and sent him pictures. Of fecal matter. I dont know why he just wanted too. He told me that the gecko most likely have parasites and then told me that bringing her to his vet will just be a hassle due to how far it was from me. He sent me panacur and recommend Start up from zilla. tHE PANACUR was to kill as much as worms and eggs and gave me the formula to properly dose the gecko with panacur. the zilla is used to just start her appetite and get as much nutrition or something. So am getting 1g of panacur from him. I want to thank him a lot. He was stright forward. I cant go to the vet around me. None do reptiles. Mostly mammals. Lets hope for the best. Thanks

sorry a lot of grammar error and mis-punctuations.

There are many types of parasites. You can't just guess which type it is. It has to be looked at underneath a microscope. Panacur does not treat all. You can do more harm than good. She is severely emaciated and without the right nutritional support and proper meds you can kill her.

Let me explain a bit. Bacterial infections can show the same symptoms. Panacur does not treat bacteria. Believe me you do not want her death to be on your conscious because you gave her a medicine she did not need. Your playing russian roulett. You will feel a lot better with yourself if you handed her over to a reptile rescue or someone experienced who can handle the financial burdon.

Honestly, if you do not surrender that Gecko to someone who can provide proper care, it is going to die. You do not deserve any of your animals and I hate to say that but you do not have the means to care for them. What if they come down with the samething? The same will happen, you already said you cannot afford to take them to the vet. They will suffer the same fate. I hate to sound this way but I fear for the animals life. The Gecko is still impacted and like others said, their are many types of parasites so he can't really make a specific diagnosis over the phone and pictures.

you dont know anything about me.

what does that have to do with anything?. now your being completely irresponsible. reps4life has knowledge in what shes talking about along with others, clearly your taking it as a bash so get off this damn forum if your going to act like a complete idiot and not take anyone's advice. Why dont you jsut give her up so you can 100 percent know she will be okay?, your just trying to be a hero with risk of killing that animal, be a real hero and give her up so she can live without being ill while laying in a pvc pipe.
