I don't see anything unhealthy looking about it...Its kind of like a paradox "blotch" just kinda appeared over time...its pretty neat!

yes i know, she isnt Unhealthy, nor is the tail the bans are still very well noticed and Large, Under tail shot really shows it.

Well that last shot sold me. Looks like a healthy tail to me. Maybe it was just positional/lighing in that other shot. Either way, that's really crazy.

Very pretty gecko I can sure see that yellow. But as for it being blue before...? I can see hints of like a grey/blue colour. But then if that tail is blue, then so is my SHTCTB's tail Her tail has that greyish blue hue to it.

Actually when I first saw it, it reminded me of a tail that had been bruised in some way, almost looked like it was getting to the point of being necrotic.. but after seeing more pics, the underside does look normal, so that shouldn't be the case.. bewildering for sure!

That is so incredibly odd that the yellow has come in in almost the exact same location as the blue hue before it. It'll be interesting to see what you do with this one...

She's very pretty! I have a female like this, too, Kenyatta. It's not very visible on that picture of her, but the first segment of the tail turned yellow. And she's a wild-caught mix with a Mack Snow Enigma father, so I wonder where that color came from!! Her mother is just brown and spotted (wild caught), and her father is black and white.

I bet it's something like those paradox spots, just that yellow tails are prettier than dark blotches :main_yes: I'm not sure whether it's possible to breed for this, but you can try. It's unlikely that you find a mate for her with the same color change--at least, I've never seen one.

Hey everyone i just noticed this post again, SADLY months ago she passed away, i dont know what happen, this was really long ago but i remember when seeing her with-in 24 hours she was fine, and then the next day she was dead. just laying there, however she had a bite mark on her side from herself. i never posted back about it. but she was doing really well and her tail was still much more yellow. Who knows if i will ever be able to Hatch out a gecko as neat as this one ) :
