Don't Say It's Impossible

One thing I was thinking about (even though sadly I'm not involved in this this year...) is the people that are going to give a gecko as a gift. If people are not getting their person until the 13th (or whatever it is) that leaves 2 weeks until Christmas...a VERY DANGEROUS time to ship.
I'm wondering if people are going to wait until it's warmer, and the mail is less chaotic? I have heard horror stories of people shipping geckos close to Christmas, never ending well.
If this is the case, I'll join in...I'll be producing some worthy geckos this year...I just don't have any now!
Some people feel comfortable shipping in the cold with heat packs. Most people who are sending geckos are eexperienced and know to check the weather in the area they are sending the geckos to. I've also had people request to be with someone in the same state so they can drive to give the person the gecko which also works. A lot of people are taking the gift certificate route saying they will send what ever gecko the person wants when the time is right to ship. Last year I also had people tell me to tell the person who was getting the gecko that they were getting one, but they had to wait until it warmed up. And some people emailed their person with a picture of their gecko present and said they would ship when it warmed up.
