OK, in all fairness, let's all consider this. Maybe you do have something new here. If you do, Congratulations.

But speaking from a couple years plus watching threads "just like this one", don't expect every member here to gobble up everything you're feeding them with a tin spoon. :main_no: They question what you're presenting to them. Sorry, but that's their right too.

The bottom line is this ... If you're going to present something you claim to be a completely new morph to this community, then be prepared to be challenged. That's just the way it is.

Honestly what I see here is a smokin little sunglow that will surely develop into an outstanding adult... Congratulations on the little hatchling!!!

My first impression is that is is a lovely Hybino (RT does not call his "sunglows"). The second thing I noticed could be the camera angle, but the front legs of this little one looks like it could have MBD.

No matter what, it is a beautiful little one, and I would love to see progression photos of how it develops!

from tremper...? i'll be outlandish and guess super tangelo extreme emerine 1984 albino.

Does anyone know the deal with the "extreme emerine"? what is the mode of inheritance? Is it co-dom like tangelo and super tangelo are supposed to be?

I don't mean to go off topic but what is the "1981 Albino" gecko?

As I understand and was told is that there was an albino leopard gecko that was at a zoo since 1981 and that Ron Tremper aquired it. Now if he did indeed breed it to all three known strains and prove it not to be one of them then it would pre-date all the other strains.

If he did have this 1981 albino wouldnt he have released them by now?

not to get off topic, but the 1981 was found in an exsisting collection and somewhat recently aquired by RT. It would take one season to prove out and another to make hets from known non albino animals. From there a breeder with half a brain would make his holdbacks and produce his own homozygous breeders. The possiblitities are endless if it's a 4th albino strain ;)

No matter what this posted animal is.. looks good to me, has hypo influence(whether line bred or genetic), has tangerine influence and appears tremper albino from the lack of black.

as for the 1981 albino, It is a male that was recently found in a college lab. it predates all other known albino strains by many years as it has been chillin in a lab since the early 80's. A lab student took pictures and notified RT of the male. the male has been crossed to Trempers, Bells, and Rainwaters by RT with no albinos produced, meaning this is in fact a 4th strain. I would expect him to produce pure 1981 albinos this year, but i'm not RT so i dont know for sure. Its amazing that a gecko that old can still be fertile!

I talked to him about it too at Daytona.

When he first received the male he tried to breed him to Tremper females. He was uninterested in ANY of the Tremper females. Then he purchased a rainwater and bell albino. All the babies came out normal from both. He just got him to breed to a Tremper female. She laid two eggs in the water dish...

If you listen to the LNL interview with him. He said he has not had any babies from Trempers yet. Go to LNL if you need to hear it for yourself lol.

i was unaware that trempers had not been crossed to Mr.1981. i find it doubtful that it would be a tremper male. The chances of having 2 organisms show up with the same random mutation would be astronomical.

We should probably go back to talking about the orange albino looking gecko this thread is about, haha... which im very interested to find out about... my gut tells me there is something co-dom going on, but thats just an educated guess
