If it's not sub-zero temperatures, it's nearly two feet of snow. I've had enough of Wisconsin winters.

This is out my front door before "PlowGuy" came the second time (I don't do shoveling)

This is the back yard. The bottom of that lower bird feeder is usually about three feet off the ground...

And this is the driveway after PlowGuy (I don't know his real name) was here the second time. It snowed about another 3" since then, and there's still flurries coming down last I checked.

Now I feel bad about complaining about the few inches and ice we got yesterday...

Where are you planning on heading?

South, or really far West. :main_yes: I haven't decided yet, and have a lot of things I need to factor in (schools, job market, herp laws, etc.). Hopefully I'll have some time to do some "exploring" this spring/summer. All I know is that this is my LAST Wisconsin winter.

Don't feel bad about complaining, Val. If you don't like snow, you don't like snow. I could feel bad too since those poor folks in upstate NY got what, like 8 feet?

I'm with you Paul! If it weren't for my whole family living up here in N.E., and me being poor, I'd probably move somewhere warm too :main_yes:

No offense, but you couldn't pay me to live in Florida... or Canada. lol

Kel, I haven't ruled out Texas, but I've got to keep an open mind and do some more "exploring" :) (I still can't believe that the city of Houston "shuts down" when the temperature drops below freezing!)

Jeanne, that's pretty much why I've been here as long as I have. But, my "kids" are all grown up now, and I'm not real close to what little family I have left so now it's ALL ABOUT ME. lol :main_laugh:

I have to admit I haven't looked at TX schools much yet. But as far as employment field, something in legal/finance/accounting. I have education and experience in all of those, but sadly, no degree yet :( (which is really hard to believe considering just how many credits I've managed to accumulate)

California is my number one, but it is expensive living. But you only live once and you should go for it. Good luck see you in a few years if you move to cali.
