Any Roach in the Blaptica or Blaberus Genus; most people use Dubia and Discoids.

Read some of the other posts about how people's geckos won't eat this or that, and I think the best answer may be "whatever the gecko will eat".

Also Blatta roaches. I feed Blatta lateralis, mealworms and occassionally crickets, and rarely waxworms as treats. I feel the more varied diet the better. Silk worms, Super Worms and Phoenix worms are great too (though I've heard some leos won't touch Phoenix worms).

Try Phoenix worms, shipping is free. I am currently feed mealworms, crickets, and Phoenix worms to my leos. I just like to switch their diet up in case i run out of food and did not have a chance to purchase more food, I would be relieved that they will sale it.

It'd be interesting to see how he took to something that doesn't run. I once actually tried an earthworm (!) on him when I had an emergency cricket shortage, but he just tilted his head up, gave me that cat look ("really, you ... you must be joking" ) and went back under his log.

I feed super worms.

Hey, whats the difference from giant mealworms and superworms, or are they the same thing?

On Topic: I keep a supply of mealworms and crickets and switch that up, somedays crickets, some mealworms, other ill feed both occasionally.

Superworms are much larger than mealworms, and I believe are a completely different species altogether.

I mainly feed superworms with the occasional cricket or mealie. Supers are by far the easiest and most filling of the feeders I've tried. I'm trying to find someone in Canada who breeds roaches however as I would really like to try them...

I believe variety is the best thing for them. I use Dubia, Mealworms, Superworms, Silkworms, Very rarely Crickets (scared of parasites), once a month Waxworms, and for ones just before and just after breeding, Pinkies. I raise most of my feeders myself so I know what is going into my geckos.
