Mine is a 2004 SVT Focus - it has the 6-speed, and the factory 8" subwoofer in the back. Black leather interior. I love my baby. Next one will be a WRX STi. Still a few years away, but hoo boy that'll be fun.

Hubby has a 2006 HHR with a cat-back, 19" wheels, some sort of system he just put in it for the boom boom, lowering springs....he hates it (except for the system) because it's a dog. It'll be our eldest son's car when he turns 16 (3 years) *because* it's a dog, but looks cool. Safer that way.

And I have a 1976 BMW 2002. He's not worthy of being photographed right now...next year, maybe.

Here's my weekend ride:

I've been racing in the Camaro-Mustang Challenge for many seasons now - this car is a 1994 Trans-Am.

This is my daily driver, a 1997 Trans-Am. I am the original owner. In this shot I am giving a demonstration ride to a student at Thunderhill Raceway Park, a 3 mile road race track in Willows, CA (about 75 miles from me). I have been instructing there since I got my racing license in 2000. I am also the present track record holder in my racing class.

This is my no practical purpose car, a 1991 Firebird Formula:

The MOGL knows the guy I bought this car from!

I am so jazzed to see all the kewl vehicles you guys have, especially the '66 Mustang. I am a ponycar gal, for sure!

I am a big fan of Corvettes and would love to own a Z06 someday. I have been in every cool sports car there is as an instructor, that includes a lot of new Z06s! My fantasy ride is the Lotus Exige (the Elise with a hard top). I also enjoy Mini Coopers, Miatas and Pontiac Solstices (may own one someday!)

I'm also an experienced Jeeper, someday I post up some photos of my husband's '62 CJ5. :)

Lots of nice vehicles, Ive been trying to think of a reason not to get something with a LSx under the hood after the celica. Thinking ~2000 Camaro SS. I just need decent gas mileage, so we'll see.

MSMD- That ZJ must flex great! This is measuring for bumpstops, I have a little more now but not lots, wont be unless I trim more:

Im aiming for more droop than uptravel, I tend to do more mud/ruts than rocks, etc.

I have a green 1998 Chevy Malibu LS with 286,000 miles. All the fuel injectors are bad and I'm not sure but I think I get under 25mpg because of this. It idels horribly, if it does Idel, it's all beat up..dent's everywhere. Ugliest thing in the world.

But I'm 17 so there's not much I can do haha. It's was only $1000.

I can tell you right now, when I do buy a new car. It's going to be a volkswagen. I LOVE THEM! Most guys my age like rims and going fast. I like sedans haha.

I just built this one on the VW site. This is what I would die to have:

2008 Volkswagen Jetta...only get's 21mpg but it's gorgeous, and comfortable.

It's a wonder anyone your age likes cars with the price of gas! Kinda explains your choice there. ;) Don't forget women also like going fast! There's a lot more of us Danica types out there than you might think!

yeah i'm fine, i lucked out somehow and despite getting hit right in the door going about 60 and rolling over i came out with just a couple tiny scratches. my shoulders are still feeling kinda off though so i'll be heading to a doctor as soon as i can find one down here.

guess i still have to get used to maryland drivers though; who knew turning left across traffic on red was perfectly normal behavior?

edit: oh and i found out something really awesome about my new car... i can play data cd's full of mp3 files through the 6-cd changer so i'll be able to have a ton of songs available all the time without having to worry about changing cd's. and the dash lights up really cool blue and red when the headlights are on. even though i spent about 3 grand more than i had planned, i'm happy with it so far and it's cheaper to insure than my pathfinder was even though it's an 08 and the pathfinder was an 02

Nice cars everyone- i figured i ought to put mine on here too. my daily driver i do not have pictures of yet, its a 98 silverado z71 ext cab short bed-stock except for the bed cover and window visors- dark blue with grey cloth insides-i'll try to get pictures when its cleaned up. i do, however, have pics of my weekend cruisers. my dad gave me my first car when i was around 8 or 9 years old, a 1968 camaro ss 396, red on red, factory tach & gauges, four speed.my senior year, i got a 1967 camaro ss 396 convertible, black on black, four speed. these are my babies, besides stewie lol. this is mine and my dad's hobby, restoring muscle cars, mainly camaros- we have 4 camaros and a 58 corvette that he's had since the early 70s. His 2 camaros are: 1968 rs/ss 396 4 speed matching numbers car that we recently done a frame off restoration, black on black coupe. the other camaro is a 1969 rs/ss 350 automatic, red on white, a/c ,8-track player on console(factory), we call it a girls car because of the color combo, and that we found some lipstick in the car when taking it apart. sorry for the long speech lol, here are the pics-the first picture is from a local car show with dads camaro, corvette, then my convertible, 2nd pic is my convertible, 3rd is my red car with dad's black car in the front,4th is the engine for my convertible, and last is dad's 69 rs ss 350-enjoy:D

~2000 something with an LS1 :main_evilgrin: The biggest thing stopping me is the widely varying reports of gas mileage. Ive got to be able to cruise ~100 miles/day at 50-60 for 80% of the trip, and get high high 20s to be able to afford to trade up.

There just aren't that many cars that get decent mileage, and give you 300+ to the wheels. :(

Too true- i looked up on edmunds. com website-2000 camaro z28 gets avg 18/27 mpg with manual transmission, and 17/25 mpg w/automatic- manuals almost always get better mileage- my red coupe, it used to get 4 mpg before i changed the rear end gear, now it gets around 8 lol. hope this helped ya about the new camaros
