Well the parents are...
male = Mack RW 100% het Patty and the female Mack 100% het RW and 100% het Patty.

So this is in "MY OPINION" either a Super Snow RW 100% het for patternless or a Super Snow RWPA.

Hmmm, I am going to say its a SSRW that is 50% het patternless...

If your darken the picture (tilt the lap top screen) you can see a definate SS pattern...

I was curious on the 100% het Patty also? if both parents were 100% het patty, wouldnt the offspring be 66% het patty? Definitely say SSRW also, I definitely love the SS albinos

You guys are right about the patty part. I did state "My OPINION" though, not the possibilities. :main_yes:

Hey Gregg, if I look through a shoebox, while standing on my head when the moon is full and I close one eye, I can see Uranus. :p

I'm still sticking with my first guess.

Yep, definitely a Boston Terrier. No doubt about it.

AKC nonetheless.

So this is in "MY OPINION" either a Super Snow RW 100% het for patternless or a Super Snow RWPA. It hatched with no patterning at all. It is now 12 days old and does have a few faint splotches around the neck area. This is making me lean toward SSRW het patty but I'm not certain.

Before you state anything other than an opinion in this thread... please have 100% factual data and visual evidence to back it. lol :main_rolleyes:

Has anyone for certain produced a SSRWPA?

I don't think it's a visual albino the eyes look way to black.Looks to me a mack super snow patternless het RW.being a non albino it would be darker grey color if it was a standed mack super snow at that age.Just my opinion.

A Super Snow Patternless is much darker. I'm positive that the one Jeremy hatched is a homozygous albino. Super Snow Rainwaters still have black eyes though.

Congrats Jeremy!

I say it is a SSRW or SSPA. That was easy enough. Next. LOL

Super Snows have black eyes, SS Albinos have red or lighter colored (lighter colored than black) eyes.

It is the Tremper Super Snows from lower incubation temperatures, or ones that have cooled, and, Rainwater Super Snows, that have a darker colored eye. They are albinos, they can not have trully black eyes, but they can appear almost black. Not very many Rainwater Albinos have very red eyes, and this is likely the reason for that.

I did a little research further myself on the rainwater eyes as I don't currently own one. Seems the greyish or brownish appearing eye color in the rainwaters that I see in images when taken over by the SS eyes would look just like the eyes in this image. I feel that the SSRW(PA?) call is a very accurate one, but as it grows the ID will further show itself.

Not sure what it is, this genetic stuff is getting too far out of my reach to grasp properly. Too many acronyms to remember too, and all these new snow morphs aren't helping either guys! Regardless of what it is, it is an awesome leo.

This thread is for opinions only!! :gossip:

If anyone knows for certain what a SSRWPA is "supposed" to look like I would love to see some photographs. :p

This is the thread for everyone to speculate. What they "think" it might look like. I, personally have never seen a SSRWPA, therefore I really can't say what it should look like. I only have my opinion.

The eyes of this gecko look black but could be a really, really dark red. My raptors were about 4 weeks old before I could tell that their eyes were red and not black.

The following is my opinion. :jester:

A Super Snow Patternless hatchling looks like this: (sorry the picture is kinda fuzzy)
SuperSnowPatternless.jpg

(both parents were mack snow patternless)

ps - My RWSS is 14 months old and her eyes are still a color that I perceive to be solid black. :p

I'm certainly not a genetics expert, and I haven't a clue what it is, what it looks like, what it's supposed to look like.. nor do I have an opinion. Well... OK. My opinion is that is needs some fur on it.

Have you tried asking it what it is?

I did that with my Mack Snow Blizzard, and he lifts his tail, runs around his container screaming...Wonder what he's trying to say.....lol
