I had a professional photograph taking pictures of some of my animals- including my W&Y female:

Here is what I think... Either the white and yellows are the European version of Enigmas or the Enigmas are the American version of white and yellows... What the exact order is, we will likely never know... I do know that I have had an Enigma with normal looking eyes...

To me, they are the same genetic mutaion...

I know someone brought up the fact that blizzards and patternless look the same... They look similar as adults you can see a difference and as hatchlings they look nothing alike...

The ones that gekonlublin posted almost look like what you would expect from a hypo x red stripe.

Some W&Y have a lot of paradox spots, altough I see a great number of geckos without them. That is different from the enigma, right?

Perhaps it is more like Mack, TUG and Gem Snows...

What I mean is a similar mutated phenotype, but different genetic mutation(s). But who knows... ;)

That black gecko that turned out odd striped is way cool. He was from a WY pairing? What about the others like that-all from the same WY pairings? Has that male been bred yet and have any offspring? That line from him would be interesting to watch.

And what make you think these animals do not have the same founding genetics???
You do get Super Snows when the Mack is bred to the other two snow lines... Just something to think about...:main_thumbsup:

That does not prove that the genetics is the same, the interaction (or action) of different genes can make similar phenotypes. I'm not arguing either way, just saying it is unknown.

Not everything has to be explained by the origin of the animals and by the existence of mutations in the wild. How many animals are there in captivity? Perhaps more than in nature.

Look, you said one hypothesis, I am just saying another. :main_thumbsup:

After two years working with the W&Ys I finally hatched a W&Y het Tremper albino. There do exist some albinos already, but I`m happy.
