are we hitting something like "Bell enigma" and "Prokhorchik enigma" or "Bell W&Y" and "Prokhorchik W&Y"? :p

I personally think that those two are not the same and I`m happy to be able to work with an Enigma (Sunglow enigma het RAPTOR) and a W&Y (a W&Y x sunglow) male next year. I will pair both males with Raptors, Eclipse Tremper Hybinos ("Raptoglows"), MSSTA and tangerines and the W&Y male with a W&Y female.
I`m more than excited to see similarities and differences and I`m looking forward to see the first albino W&Y.

Best regards
Karsten

those eyes don't look like any enigma eyes in my racks, but I started with an outcrossed enigma.

These are interesting news. Check Konrad`s site. He states that he hatched W&Y/Calico from breeding a Calico x Sunglow pairing:

Let us see some pictures of your hatchlings please! How many hatchlings did you get from your w&y male x albino female? Maybe just bad odds? Or is the "classic" female related to the W&Ys?

Is that Classic female the original one you had used for the last ones, too?

I mean I´ve read that hint but no one came on it. What if W&Y is a rezessive trait?
Your classic is het and you male well is w&y. Could be right?
You should take 1.2-5 of your non-W&Y's and breed them, maybe you have luck that would proof them rezessive right?

no no no supperl . w&y genetic is difficult.. . that maybe dominate or something like that... I crossed w&y male with simple classic females not het. for w&y or other things .. Im working on w&y about 2 years .. This morph is very wierd . Every hatched gecko is different than other ( i mean sibblings ) . when i crossed w&y male with albino females everytime comes out classic.. Its different but im still working . P.s little w&y are for sale :)

Sounds/looks like a line-bred hypo/stripe to me--if both parents need to contain W&Y lineage. Has anyone bred 2 "normal" geckos produced by W&Y parentage together? If I'm reading right, it almost sounds similar to Raptor bred to normal banded 'het' Raptor...just less stable? Polygenetic traits are not the easiest traits to 'stabilize'...

I almost have to agree with that. The male gecko really doesn’t look a really special gecko IMO. But I haven’t ever worked with this morph.

What is the history of this morph? When did it pop up? And what was the pairing that created the first w&y?

wow - she is beautifull)) what do you feed her? she looks more orange then my females

she loves eating carrots! Just joking. She is on a mealie, cricket, superworm, roach-diet with calcium ad libidum and some vitamins. No artificial colour enhancers :D

Ask and thou shall receive. Good read thanks to everyone who chipped in. They look so....so similar to enigmas with the exception of the eyes.
